When we moved to Westfield in 2021, my son came home with a flyer for a CSA at the farm. It had been years since I had one, so I emailed Connie and John and I signed up for the fall and winter share. I was really impressed with the quality and quantity of each share. Connie and John are amazing people. You can tell that they love what they do!
when it was time for the summer, I knew I’d sign up for that as well. I’m over 2 years in and I love it. The variety is incredible. It’s forced me to try new things and I love that Connie has recipes printed each week. I care about nutrition and feeding myself and my family quality foods, so knowing all of my food from the farm is organic, is really important to me.
If you’ve ever thought about joining- do it, you won’t be disappointed!

As we just finished our second year of the winter farm share, I would like to report the produce was fresh, tasty and plentiful. We were able to try many new vegetable dishes that we would not have tried in the past.
Connie and John are a delight to interact with, work hard to accommodate requests and are committed to providing fresh vegetables at a reasonable price that is grown organically. We highly recommend their farm share. Looking forward to our summer farm share.

This is our first CSA farm share. Connie and John are lovely folks and their farm is pretty inspiring as the only organic farm in Hampden county. It's nice to have a farm where they do care about the land and the food they are providing to their community. I would highly recommend doing a farm share with them if you are in the lower Pioneer Valley. CSAs can be a bit pricey(this is everywhere) but if you value what you feed yourself, your kids, and also want to support a local family they are well worth the cost. Highly recommend them.

She didn't just sell me fresh produce, she taught me about vegetables I wasn't familiar with. They're working towards participating in the EBT Healthy Incentives Program. It's also soothing and pretty there.

We very much enjoyed our fresh organic produce. As new members we did not know what to expect but we find John and Connie take a lot of pride in their farm. They genuinely care to have available the best quality and variety of produce. There’s always a special little surprise to make it fun. We’re hooked.

June 15 2018 and summer has begun for me! Today I picked up my 1st farm share of the season and I am so happy! As usual, Connie was there to greet me and tell me about this year's early crop of lettuce and various other wonderful organic veggies. I also picked up this week's recipes featuring the veggies in my share. Then she took me around the house and farm and showed me the flower beds for this year! Heaven! I'll have fresh flowers every week all summer and into the fall. This is what a CSA is all about! Visiting this beautiful farm on the banks of the Manhan River is the best part of my week all summer long!

Have been a member for 3 years, and will participate in the winter membership this year as well. I absolutely love the variety of fresh vegetables, even fruit such as watermelon, cantaloupe and strawberries! I had fresh flowers on my table every week all summer long from the "pick your own" feature. Also there is plenty of weekly produce available for freezing and preserving to enjoy during the cold days of winter. I am delighted and grateful to have such a wonderful healthy local service provided by John and Connie.

Yellow Stonehouse Farm CSA is the best. John and Connie are wonderful. They know and care about their members. The veggies are fresh picked and organic (they are actually certified organic), with lots of variety. You choose your veggies out of a bin, they are not packed up ahead of time for you. The price if broken down per week is fanatastic. I have fresh flowers weekly that my daughter and I pick ourselves. Tried many new things because of the CSA- husk berries, white tomatoes, yellow watermelon (my fave) just to name a few. Not only do I do the summer share, I also do the winter share, and that is just as amazing. 5 pickups spaced out with roughly 40/45 pounds of veggies each pickup. I don't have to buy carrots, potatoes, parsnips, onions or squash all winter long. The winter share is perfect especially if you have Thanksgving at your house, because not only will you have all the veggies, but John and Connie also supply recipes for all the veggies to make amazing side dishes, and also provide seasoning for your turkey, made by them using organic herbs grown on the farm. You cannot go wrong at all, by becoming a member of this CSA. It is totally worth it!!
