This is a tiny airport, but what do you expect in an Alaskan town with no transit to the rest of the world other than boat or plane? The TSA folks were efficient and there is a bar steps from the airport, so I dont see how anyone can complain. Make no mistake about it, this is basic but sufficient.

We arrived at the airport in the evening, after a flight delay(plane mechanical). Because of the size of Yakutat, you should not expect much room for social distancing. The wait for luggage offloading was short. Baggage handlers were great. Of course, lots of hiking and fishing gear, but everyone was respectful of each other. No photos because it was pouring.
The return trip was even better. This is where the TSA shines. There is no scanner, so all of our gear was physically inspected, then strapped. There is X-ray for carry-ons, but the process was smooth. The only delays were passenger caused(not prepared going in).

Terminal is fine. But they have the tightest TSA checks of anywhere I've ever been. I fly there regularly and the are consistent with their overkill checks. I mean... It's Yakutat... Why so much security?
