Love West Chester Grower's Market! Great vendors with high quality, healthy, local food. Made dinner tonight and all ingredients were from the Grower's Market. Mississippi pot roast (Lindenhoff Farms/chuck roast), mashed potatoes and string beans. (Evergreen farms).

Great West Chester institution with a variety of vendors and major emphasis on local. Meat, mushrooms, veggies, fruits, breads and other baked goods, flowers, pasta, soaps, honey, distilled spirits, dog treats, and more. Parking can be a challenge, but patience is a virtue and rapid turnover is a blessing.

I went to get some end-of season gold rush variety apples from North Star Orchards but was pleasantly surprised that there were a really several other apple orchards represented as as other local farms (goat cheese sellers had a nice selection!). Prices weren't bad. A few of the vendors (not those mentioned) did appear to prefer cash, so it'd be best to take some along, especially if you decide to purchase in small quantities. Full disclosure: this was my first time there, so can't say how typical that was.

This market and its vendors are the best! Fresh produce, tasty baked goods, great prices! Bring cash and your own bags The hours are Saturday 9 am - 1 pm. And parking is free in WC on Saturday until 5 pm. I try to get there every week in the summer.
