A farm stand located on a busy Simsbury Road in Bloomfield, CT. It started as a dairy farm in 1919. In 1969, it moved to this location which was larger for the growing business. It is still owned an operated by the Wade family.

I drove by and saw the huge Wade's sign and a busy parking lot; it was spacious and easy to pull in and out, just becareful with incoming traffic. The outside area had various plants. When I walked inside, it was spacious and a very organized store. They had jams, snacks, produce, pies, baked goods, etc. I was gretted by the friendly employees. On this visit, I purchased strawberry-rhubarb jam, cookies, an onion, and corn muffin. Those were all very fresh and tasty. Everything in the store was fresh looking. I saw the corn after but was already out the door so I'm looking forward to going back for that.

We have driven past Wade's a dozen times since moving to the area. The plant display outside the store drew us into the parking lot. The place is good for stocking up on the necessities.

I used to stop on my way home before the pandemic, but had not recently. Their produce is very fresh from their farms. The service is excellent. They can easily guide you with the quality of the crops at this moment.

First time going today and I absolutely loved everything in there. I love the fresh vegetables, fruits, I love all the jams they have on the wall, all the honey. And I love love they have their own salad dressing. Will definitely be going back again. The ladies were super sweet. ❤️❤️❤️

In the fall - mum's are plentiful and beautiful!! They are taken care of so we'll that the vibrant colors and big Blooms will last well into November. In the spring/summer they have a great selection of potted and garden ready plants. The vegetables are flavorful and it's easy to pick up as much or as little as you need! Plus they take credit card (if over $10)

Awesome family owned store. Doesnt have everything that a supermarket would have but at least you know their produce and fruits is on point. They're fresh and crunchy, a superb spot to go for all the needed ingredients for your next exciting meal.
