We only sat at bar, but the place is really nice and laid back. We saw Amy Keys. Only criticism of the music always maybe vocals could have been a bit louder in the mixing. Had one beer and a cranberry juice, cranberry juice was $8 lol, but all good. Not my first time here, won't be the last. Very few places that have this kind of feel and music here, reminiscing the old Nucleus Nuance...

This place used to have classy, but it’s really gone downhill. I stepped out to enjoy some live jazz solo, expecting a relaxing evening-but, instead, I was met with overpriced cover charges just to sit at the bar and watch a performance that was, frankly, average at best. You’re not allowed to speak and have some laughs. And I love to laugh. The atmosphere is weird vibe, you’re expected to sit in silence as if you’re at some sacred ceremony, not jazz. The bartenders were rude, and dismissive, showing no sense of hospitality, respect and kindness. I’ve had far better experiences at The Bel-Air Hotel or The Peninsula in Beverly Hills where I you can enjoy enchanting live music in a dazzling setting- without being charged for existing. I was actually considering this venue for an art celebration, but after that night, that is out of the question. And honestly, for a place that is in the middle of Bel-Air, not even offering kosher wine is just out of touch. Very disappointing and never again.

Wow just wow!!! If you haven't been here, let me tell you, you won't regret it!! It's a family-friendly environment if you have a baby no problem they'll accommodate you as best as they can! My family loved it! We got to see and meet The Jive Aces!! It was a night to remember for sure! The food, service, and atmosphere is just amazing!

**** One and Done. A Masterclass in How Not to Treat Your Guests.****

Walked into Vibrato Jazz Bar at 8:00 p.m. on a Tuesday. Grateful to get a seat, and even more grateful when the host informed us the cover charge would be waived, given the timing. Lovely start.

We ordered a premium bottle of wine, steak, and an appetizer — all expensive, all delivered promptly. The server was kind and attentive. The setting? Romantic, beautifully lit. Jazz wrapped up at 9:05 p.m., and we were halfway through our wine and meal, enjoying the atmosphere.

Then — boom — lights on. Full beam. The vibe shifted instantly from classy jazz lounge to awkward high school prom cleanup. Suddenly, the message was clear: "You've heard your jazz, now get out." This, mind you, in a place advertised as open until 10:00 p.m.

It was jarring and frankly insulting, especially when the bill landed: over $400 — no problem — but with an extra $40 for cover charges we were explicitly told would be waived. When questioned, the manager’s attitude was dismissive and smug, essentially saying, “That’s just how it is.”

No accountability, no effort to correct or even explain the shift in tone. Just pure arrogance and a complete lack of basic business sense or hospitality. You don't treat paying guests — any guests — this way, let alone ones who just dropped $400+ in under an hour.

Word of advice to management: Learn how to host.

Food prices are outrageous and not good at all, we were a big party two tables total 17, we ordered different fish plates the one me and my sister-in-law ordered ,was highly recommended by our waiter that it's amazing, the special of the day,not on the menu , sea bass with risotto,which was on the menu , Unfortunately both plates sea bass wasn't cooked and there was this terrible smell ,not fishy smell, something more like an old rotten heavy oil smell and taste, wasn't cooked well so I asked mine to be changed to a different fish which was with pineapple it was halibut and it was very good but when my sister asked hers also to be changed after me,suddenly the waiter said we're going to charge you,so unprofessional, he didn't tell me when I asked to change ,she ended up.aaking them to cook it more which she said was a bit better, they charged my returned one as well ,uncooked, terrible tasting sea bass, something that's been recommended by the waiter they charged ? shame on them !
Now here is the surprise funny part, the Entertainment Jazz Group which started super late around 10 pm playing Christmas songs which was pleasant but this is the trick they played us, they said there is a basket on the floor you can put your free optional donations in return they were giving away the CD of their musical jazz band ,since everyone was lazy to go and pick up theirs my husband went instead and picked up around 9 CDs and passed them to our friends after putting the donation in the basket, next day we found out that none of the 9 CDs were working , shame on them, really?shame on them they ask for donations and singing Christmas songs and cheating on people just asking for extra money to give away defective CDs?
Wasn't $50 per person enough? Cuz they also charged $50 extra per person for that jazz 2 hour only entertainment band .
What kind of unreliable people are you ,singing , Christmas songs, and cheating on people ?
Don't you feel bad that each one of us will play that CDs and find out that all were defected?
Maybe you never thought that such a big group of friends will come & find out that all your CDs were defective it wasn't by chance one of them was defective by mistake, this is very bad.
I do not recommend this restaurant. The food not bad but too pricy .It's a rip-off ,
Overall, we paid $175 per person one coarse meal 1 drink and three shared salads 1 fries ,
With the exact money, honedtly ,you can definitely find greater places with longer entertainment ,triple amount of our food, plus dancing and amazing shows of all cultures combination ,especially the last year's one of newly opened restaurants in Glendale at LE CHANSONA on broadway Ave 5/6 hours of entertainment

Just WOW!! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of incredible. My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here, and the staff went above and beyond to make it truly special. The service was impeccable, the food was divine, and the atmosphere was simply perfect. We were given fantastic seating, which made the evening even more memorable. The show was breathtaking, adding the perfect touch to an already wonderful night. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s an absolute must-visit. We will definitely be returning!

It's definitely a great place to come for a date night or simply just a special night out. Plan in advance and reserve at least a week ahead if you want to ensure good seating. No reservation is needed if it's at the bar.
The atmosphere is vibrant, modern, cozy, and relaxing, with a hint of fine dining all at the same time.
Service was fast without compromising the quality of our food and drinks.
You can come with kids, but I wouldn't recommend it. This is more for date night or a special gathering amongst friends.
Not many places have live Jazz music now a days. It's great to have found a place that is still doing it right. 😎 🎷
