Wholesale stores for restaurants are also opened for retail customers. US Foods Chef’Store is a grocery and kitchen store where I like to shop. This one in Santa Cruz is perfectly located in a shopping center next to my favorite stores.

The store is very nicely organized, better than the other store belonging to the same chain. The items are less expensive than those at regular supermarkets and are good quality but limited choice. The employees at the floor and checkout counter are friendly, too!

Wow! Definitely a warehouse style type store. Great selection, brands and quality. Open to the public, so if you have a business or planning a party you should definitely check this place out! Kind of liked it more than Costco to be honest...prices are very similar.

I love the variety of options that this store provides and their meat selections are great!
The thing that I did not like and would warn about is that I saw what looked to be a pantry moth (given the size and color) and so I would freeze any dry goods you buy here such as things like flour, rice or corn meal. They are a nightmare to get rid of once they get are in.

Normally shop at other stores and decided to check it out. Was surprised because I thought I needed a membership & didn't. That's a plus. Great selection, good prices & bulk items, which is great for a family or events. Will be coming back.

This store offers bulk items. They have frozen food section and produce as well. I stopped in to grab coffee creamers for the office. Grabbed 3lbs bananas for $1.49

I love to come and just look at all the goodies. Great for a party or restaurant. However, some prices are amazing, others wacky and off the charts. With a keen eye, you can get some grest stuff. I also love that they carry smaller stuff too, like Braunschwager, sugar free coffee syrups and loaves of bread. Friendly staff!
