Uhler's so convenient to get in and out and all that work there are genuine and very helpful. I always get my best spring and summer flowers for my outdoors. Last several times I have been there it was cash or check only so be ready or call to confirm still same policy. Signs are clever, too....check this one out.

I bought a little shishito pepper seedling from here in May. I got it home and put it in the wrong container and stunted the poor thing. After I put 2 and 2 together, I drilled some holes in the pot and this runty little pepper has become an abominable flavor monster.

It's October and the pepper is a feisty tree that just keeps pumping out hundreds of little peppers. Despite the stunting, the drought, getting sat on by a dog, and spending a few days tipped over on the pavement, this pepper has a will to fruit like none I've ever seen. No disease has touched it. Pests are afraid of it. I'm pretty sure it just tapped me on the shoulder and asked me for $3.50.

Out of all the plants I bought in the spring, the shishito pepper I got from Uhlers has been the most prolific, unkillable plant I've ever grown. What this place lacks in size, they make up for with an elite selection of high quality plants. Plus, they let me hold a kitten.

there looks to be a wide range of birdseed and maybe a lot of animal feed, but THERE IS NO SEED FOR YOUR VEGETABLE GARDEN, contrary to what Google maps shows.
