Check in is right off 23rd. Just look for the signs and dropped trailers in the driveway. Guards are hit or miss. Some are nice and helpful. Others just shoot the breeze playing on their cell phones and want you to figure things out for yourself. Empty trailers must be full of fuel, washed out, and not have any major defects (i.e. no holes in walls, floor, ceiling, or air chute). They told me my sweep out wasn't good enough and made me run up the road to the Beacon and washout. Then you pretty much drop anywhere there's space. This place is entirely too small for the amount of business they do. Oftentimes there's nowhere to drop your trailer and they park the trailers so close together you can't hook to most of them without yard spotter assistance. They can't load trailers worth a dam. Loads scale out legal for the most part but I have had to return for rework on a few occasions. No overnight parking but there are some parking options in the area if you can get parked there before sunset

Small plant. Tight areas. May have to ask yard dog to pull out trailer bc they pack them in so closely to each other you can even get to the side of them. They won't let you know when you trailer is ready. But on a positive there is plenty of places to eat or shop around the area

Arrived half hour early, checked in and was given dock 29
The security personnel were friendly and helpful
While in the dock, I called dispatch to let them know Tyson didn’t have any empty trailers. They found me a loaded trailer, so I dropped the one I brought into the dock, bobtailed to find my loaded.
The yard jockey came out with my paperwork and to get signatures while I was doing my PTI.

I can see from other reviews how tight the yard is.. thank goodness I found the loaded trailer quickly, checked out and was on my way

[Ended up having to go over to Sapp for trailer tire repairs.. thanks to a previous driver dropping a trailer with no mudflaps and a bad tire.] (Not Tyson’s fault)

Most times I'm in and out without too much time wasted. Today the yard truck won't let go of my loaded trailer. I've been here since 0530 it's now 1030 and the mechanic is doing his best but no luck. I think he's going to have to take the whole fifth wheel apart. I don't want to rate based on one experience because today isn't normal. Everything here is tight and slow but manageable most days.

This was a breeze to deliver to. Crowded facility makes it kind of confusing to get around. The security guard was very kind and gave me easy to follow directions. I dropped my trailer and picked up an empty and was in and out of there in 15 minutes. The entrance is across the truck parking at the casino. Which you can park there overnight too. There is also a busy flying j right there too.

The employees are great yard workers are helpful. The only problem, it's very tight. If you're bringing in an empty there's a chance you'll have to swap it out in place of your load. If you can do yourself a favor and bobtail here they already have plenty of empty Tyson trailers
