My daughter started to ride at True North Farm at age 7 as a lesson student. Her experiences over the past 6 years have shaped her friendships, sense of community and value system. This is a very special stable. The professionalism and care of the horses is truly remarkable. It is a team atmosphere where the education of good riding, horsemanship and the love of the sport is paramount.
You will not find a better opportunity to learn how to ride anywhere on Cape Cod. Kay the owner is not only a world class athlete who trains all her own horses herself, but she is also amazing at finding just the right horse for her clients . Over the past 2 years I have been impressed with one good horse after another finding it’s prefect rider match. If you want to learn correct riding , be safe, and have fun then look no further. This is the barn for you or your child. If you are looking for that unicorn that are so hard to find, definitely give Kay a call. True North and Kay Slater are the real deal and Kay knows where to find some of the best event prospects on the market.

There is no place my daughter and I would rather spend our days. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful facility with top-notch care and expertise taking care of our horses. The families we have met have become lifelong friends and the program and opportunities Kay provides has allowed my daughter to go from a complete beginner to a confident, competitive rider.

I was once a rider there but they didn't treat other's the way they wanted to be treated. if i could give this place no stars i would. After a few years of going there i needed a horse to show and they wouldn't let me show. some of the staff are not really on you about some things. after they knew i was leaving they acted so nice. i

They are my neighbors and do a great job of caring for their equine guests as well as keeping the grounds clean. They are a pleasant addition to the neighborhood as well as creating a calming influence.
