When these popusas first came out they were delicious and a nice size. Now they are charging more for 1/4 of the original product. What a shame. We really used to enjoy the products they produce, now it's just a rip off. I highly recommend you go to Costco and buy the popusas they sell instead.

They tasted good. Agree that I couldn't really taste the filling. The issue I had was that the two pupusas in the same packet were frozen together. This caused one to crumble a bit while I was trying to get them apart as they were warming in the pan.

First, I should say that I’ve had MANY pupusas in my life…both homemade and at restaurants in El Salvador. I bought the chicken and cheese pupusas and what a mistake. First of all, they were $8 at Whole Foods (also shame on you whole foods for selling such garbage). If they were good, I’d have zero problem with the price, but that was sooo not the case. There are four in the package…two plastic packages in the box containing two pupusas each. The first time I made two, I used the oven directions. As they were frozen together, trying to unstick them, they both broke. I was worried that the ā€œchicken and cheeseā€ filling would spew out while cooking…one would think cheesy and melty. Sadly that wasn’t the case because whatever is inside of these fake pupusas just stayed intact and in no way resembled chicken nor cheese. It didn’t taste like a pupusa, and oddly, it didn’t taste nor have the texture of chicken or cheese. It was more of a weird paste. Aside from the texture, they had very little flavor. Gross.

For the other two, I tried the frying instructions instead of baking them, thinking that perhaps they would taste better. Nope. Exactly the same but oily.

I wouldn’t pay 50 cents for these at an off-brand gas station, let alone $8. In fact, I’ve had tastier things that came off of one of those weird roller things at an 711. I’m not one to leave a review for anything, but these were so exceptionally terrible (yet expensive) that I would be remiss to not do so. Obviously, I’ll never buy this garbage again and will make a mental note of your brand and will avoid it like the plague.

Terrible. A waste of money. 2 corn kernels in each pupusa. Package says delicious Latin flavor, tasted like black beans and dough! Don't think there was any seasoning, not even salt. What an embarrassment to make, market and sell. This is the second negative post I've ever left in my life.

The most recent ones Ive bought are so dissatisfying compared to when i first got them and there’s no complaint or help line. My box only had one pack of two pupusas instead of four.

"What's a Pupusa?" is an entire side of your box. "Chicken & Cheese *Pupusas*" is on the front. What I tried was just a flat bread with no cheese or chicken. With that being said do you understand why I am disappointed by the quotes on your packaging. Bread was tasty once salsa was added. All in all, will not purchase again.
