Trace is a brewery that not only offers a fantastic product, but always a warm and welcoming experience. My husband and I live right outside of Philadelphia and ALWAYS make it a point to stop at Trace when we're back in the area visiting family. Em is an absolute gem who provided us with a 10/10 experience. Very knowledgeable & welcoming. We always look forward to our next trip back to Pitt to be able to bring some of Trace back home to share!

Whenever we manage to make it back to Pittsburgh Trace is always a must stop for us. It’s usually weddings or funerals. Unfortunately this time it was a funeral, but we had Trace to look forward to during this difficult time. Em behind the bar was outstanding. He took the time to listen to some stories, go over beers, and made sure we had a great experience. Keep up the great work Em! Hopefully we see you again sooner than later on a better occasion ❤️

One of my favorite spots in Pittsburgh. It’s multi-function too, a gift that keeps on giving! Great outdoor seating in the warmer times. In addition to regular brewery offerings, they throw great Sunday day parties. During the week, in the daytime, it’s a coffee shop, with very chill easy vibes — great for getting work done or meeting up for a chat.

Trace has been our favorite brewery since the first time we visited. With outstanding bar staff, like Aaren, who are knowledgeable of what’s on tap and incredibly welcoming. It also helps that the beer is amazing. Trace always has something cool going on. So whether you’re looking for somewhere quiet and cozy to “wfh” during the day or the ultimate Sunday Funday, Trace is the place.

I dig this place. There was a Kellerbier on tap, and although not my go-to style, this beer was excellent! I also enjoyed the sour and the Bourbon barrel aged imperial stout with vanilla. This weekend I was supporting queer, women and black owned breweries. Cheers! 🍻

had an excellent experience at trace recently and for the past fourish years. from the dance parties in & outside, chatting up all the jakes, kara keeping my glass full, eating wtf delicious food is outside, that fireplace in the winter and even coming in on a night im not trying to stay for. there’s good in abundance at trace & im here and there for it. 🍻

I go to Trace about once a month. It's one of my favorite breweries in the city. Their beer is exceptional and their bartenders are all great. Kara in particular makes you feel welcome with her friendliness and smile. She is knowledgeable and fun. Love this place!
