We passed by Fairbanks on a roadtrip and bought from Tommy G's. Everything we bought was top quality, and I especially recommend the Buffalo sausage, the smoked sausage and Hodoo sausages as all three were delicious! I also advise you to try the flank steak jerky, as it's delicious as a starter

Tommy G’s Meat and Sausage is like I died and went to heaven! Their hot dogs, brats, Italian sausage, summer sausage and snack sticks where amazing! Their casings where some of the best I have ever had. They had a great snap to them and the seasoning was spot on. They were reasonably priced for the quality you got.

I was there the first week they were open so they were still setting thing up but they did have cowboy Ribeyes. They were huge and some of the best looking steaks I have ever seen. We got 2 of them and it was enough to feed 5 people. I won’t lie the steaks weren’t cheap. At first I was a little unsure if they were worth the price until I took my first bite. It was by far the best steak I have ever had. Every bite was so flavorful and tender. Which for a steak that size I was shocked it could taste that good. It was one of those meals you remember for the rest of your life.

Tommy’s staff was also amazing. They gave me tips for cooking the steaks and took time to explain the different cuts of meats they had.

They’re also in the process of setting up their Italian grocery section which as someone with Italian heritage I am very excited for. The products they have you won’t be able to find anywhere in Fairbanks or maybe even Alaska! It was top quality stuff.

Tommy G’s meats and sausage are on a whole other level compared to what other options Fairbanks has. I will definitely be a frequent customer.

Tommy G's is the meat shop you have been searching for. They only sell the highest quality cuts of meat you will find anywhere. Hand sliced cuts of grilling perfection. I cannot recommend this shop more. They have the perfect specimens of NY strip, T-bone/porter house, cowboy steak, and ribeye. Each cut of meat masterfully prepared for culinary perfection.
You enter the shop, and immediately feel the quality. The shop is friendly and pristinely clean. Ground sausage, summer sausage, meat sticks, bacon, and other processed meats displayed in conveniently accessible coolers beckon to be purchased. The samples simply verify the quality of the meats for sale. Let your eyes feast, and you will not be disappointed.
If meat overwhelms you, the butchers know their stuff. Just ask, and they will give you the answers you need. Remember when service was a thing, well at Tommy G's, they treat you right. You are the most important customer, and they give you the information you need to purchase the perfect meat for your occasion.

Being as my dad grew up on a butcher farm, he's extremely picky about his beef, so my family has been dealing with Delta Beef for as long as I can remember... Until now.

I was introduced to Tommy about 12 years ago, but not as a butcher. When my mom, daughter & I walked in and I saw who the man behind the counter was I instantly knew it would be our family's go-to for meats from now on. We got a couple pounds of burger, and made burgers for dinner that evening, making sure my old man didn't know where the beef came from .

Within 5 minutes at the dinner table he said "wow, Delta Beef has really stepped it up!" To which we told him where the burger was actually from. Let's just say you guys have a new customer (whole family at that)

Yesterday (2/23/22) I went here for the first time. There is a wide selection but I wanted a tenderloin. He talked with me about why I wanted the cut of meat before explaining everything I'll get from the 'Cannon'. We let me select the cut I wanted from the back and prepared it in 30mins.

My friends and I made beef wellington with the tenderloin that night. The meat came out fork tender and we didn't leave a crumb for leftovers. I'm very pleased with my purchase and will be going back.

Just tried this Lemoncello Panettone from TommyG's. It was so very tasty.
And if you are saying "what's a pescatarian doing in a meat shop!" Well I am here to say there is way more than just meat at TommyG's!! Such a fabulous selection of Italian pasta, desserts, crackers, candy, oils, vinegars, etc!! And if you are gluten free, trying their gluten free pasta is a MUST! "Best ever"!

We visited Black Spruce Brewing on a quick trip to Fairbanks, ended up meeting some great military people ho recommended this place for steak…. We bought a steak, and different smoked meats. We live in upstate NY, and wish we had someplace like this here!! This Summer sausage was to die for! The steak was sooooo good! Highly recommend.
