Three Sisters Garden Project has been such an amazing experience for our local Girl Scout Troop. We’ve now volunteered on two different occasions, and each time the farmers have been kind, knowledgeable, and so generous with their time. Our girls have learned a ton about small-scale local agriculture, food insecurity, and the value of giving back to the community. We can’t wait to go back again! Thank you Three Sisters for everything you do to serve the community and provide an awesome experience for local school or youth groups. ❤️

The Troop 4 Scout Troop in Beverly has had the privilege of volunteering at Three Sisters on a number of occasions. Whether our task was big - driving fence posts for the deer fence! - or small - clearing a field of stone so that it would be ready for planting - our group always had a fantastic experience. We worked with everyone from the Farm's Executive Director to seasonal field hands. The work was often challenging, but we were well supported by the farmers and the Scouts really enjoyed it. You'll never regret partnering with Three Sisters!

I have had the pleasure to come volunteer at Three Sisters garden project since my freshmen year at Essex Tech. The farmers here are so kind and inspirational (especially Anna!!) through my biweekly visits, I have learned so much about farming in Ipswich and agriculture in general. I was ecstatic to see the Three Sisters crew at NOFA this past weekend as they have shared so many skills with me. Thank you to everyone who works on this incredible farm and I can’t wait to visit again in the spring!!

P.s: Anna is an amazing farmer! Don’t let the hate get you down!!

During the Summer, I had the opportunity to volunteer at the three-sister farm. I expected it to be a great experience, but it was quite the opposite. When I arrived with a group from my school, we were put to work on the field. I was working really hard and spent hours in the sun. During the final minutes of the service, I went to the bathroom. When I came back, the lady passed flowers to everybody as a thank you, and when I went to get one, she said, “I wasn’t working hard enough to get one.” This comment really hurt me because I felt that the Three Sisters Farm is supposed to be happy that we are coming to volunteer and spend time to help.
