Had such a great first visit to the farm! The flowers were beautiful with a great variety — perfect for making a special arrangement. We also picked out a really cool green and peach-colored pumpkin. Can’t wait to come back for tulip season!

I went around 2 PM, and it wasn’t too crowded yet but it started getting busier later on. The entrance fee was $8 per person, and for U-Pick tulips, it was $1 per stem.

The tulip fields were absolutely beautiful! Even though my allergies had me sneezing and sniffling the whole time, it was totally worth it. Such a lovely experience!

Went there on march 29,2025 and wasn’t impressed by the variety and quality and quantity of tulips . There were hardly 10 rows with only 1 or 2 rows having good quality tulips planted . Wouldn’t recommend going there if you live in charlotte area and drive 1.4hrs just to see very thin line of tulips . Wanted yellow ones but most were full bloomed and broken apart! Adding pics and videos as reference. 8$ admission should be reduced to $2 as they don’t have much qty left

Beautiful tulips! It was my first year coming to Thompson Family Farms and I am happy I did! They have multiple-color tulips, red tulips are the first to bloom and they make the best pictures! Everyone was friendly and helpful!

We weren't too certain what to expect for homeschooling day but y'all went above and beyond our expectations. Very educational. Beautiful fields of cotton, pumpkins and even the sunflowers were still showing their beauty . Totally worth the drive. We will return.
