We got food made for pickup for a mini-honeymoon at the Fernstone Retreat Treehouse. Christine was amazing to work with. I have a severe gluten intolerance and she accommodated by making an entire gluten free meal for my husband and I. The food was great and definitely more than enough for us. She was very personable and so congratulatory on the wedding.

The waitress Kim was very nice. Place was beautiful inside. Food was excellent. The drinks are a bit pricey but the smoked old fashion was delicious. Steak was cooked perfect. The staff are excellent.

My husband and I have been going to the Stone House when traveling to Ohiopyle for several years to have the most delicious lunches/dinners! When we discovered they cater to weddings, we knew we wanted them as our caterer. The food at our wedding was DELICIOUS and everything we hoped it would be. The servers were absolutely incredible and took care of everything so that I did not have to lift a finger. They even helped serve our cake at the end of the night. Christine was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, from the tasting to picking up our food the next morning they had saved for us at the restaurant. Our guests had many helpings of everything and we are still eating yummy leftovers! I would recommend choosing The Stone House for your wedding catering!

The pork nachos and caprese salad were awesome. What made our meal bad was the terrible smell of the purple fabulouso cleaner they used on the tables. It was so strong, that is all we smelled, which ruined our dinner.

Stopped by while returning from a quick trip to DC. We saw it on our way and knew we wanted to stop on our return because it had historic value. Read the reviews and saw people mention Blaine- best server, really makes your dining an experience! The food was unbelievable- loved it from the bread and oil to house salad dressings that were worth taking a pint home! We had the shrimp and risotto special and the steak (soooo good)red potato mash. Was told the lasagna was great but didn’t want to risk-until our meal was so crazy good we got some to take home and split for dinner tomorrow. Heard they are under new management-but frankly it’s difficult to imagine they needed it. And I loved the gorgeous wood walls double marble fireplaces and the stone fireplace-this place is history at its finest, great food and impeccable in cleanliness! Hope to make it back next year- and will certainly ask for Blaine!!!

We had a fantastic dinner here on Friday night. We sat on the tavern side and had an amazing dinner. I had the shrimp and risotto special, while mu husband had the short rib pasta. They were delicious, as was the homemade bread and the bread pudding. The drinks were fresh and our server, Jamie, was outstanding! We will definitely be back when we're in town.

Went to the restaurant after a day out. No reservations made. Walked in and was greeted and sat within a few minutes. Jamie was our server and made us feel very welcomed. Placed our orders fast and food came just as fast. The mozz fritta was very good and the pork nachos..... jamie warned us they were huge and wow, he was not lying one bit lol they were massive but very good! The ribeye was very good and wife liked the tuscan chicken melt. The carrot cheesecake was very good also. Overall I'd recommend stopping in and trying them out.
