What a wonderful place! I love that they help aspiring farmers. We meet a fantastic herb farmer who rents space from them who wouldn't have the opportunities afforded to him without their guidance and options!

The email from this organization reminded me that this was the official seed sale weekend.
We headed towards Vera Cruz and was greeted by a volunteer who shared some pertinent tips for first time visitors.
We walked from booth to booth and chatted with the farmers or business owner's and learned a few things about crop diversity, soil regeneration and more.
Even shopped in the greenhouse to check out all the plant varieties.
The BEST experience was the gal who represented the one distillery and offered us a taste of that PEACH concoction! WOW.
I'll be up to your business to purchase a quart of that soon.

The May, 2023 annual Spring Seed Sale.

We walked through and spoke to the farmers and volunteers about the importance of this event.

The highlight of my visit was that PEACH concoction during from 8 oaks Distillery up near New Tripoli, PA: the best.

One of our favorite places. We attend the Seed Farm Ride and Run every year and it's always a great event, followed by excellent food!

Edit 7/5/17: bring back the ride and run! It was a great way to introduce the seed farm to people who would like to support, but are not big donors who can afford the farm dinner.

Not only is the seed farm BEAUTIFUL and peaceful with space to wander around and check out what the farmers are growing - it has a wonderful mission to support farmers and feed the community.

The seed Farm is an interesting experience I think it worthwhile one if you want to garden/farm sustainably and cooperatively with nature.. We are trying to eat our healthiest and ofcourse growing organic in our own back yard is ideal
