We bought a half cow recently, and had the opportunity when we picked it up to see the ranch and pick produce from the garden.

This is a clean, incredibly well-run operation. Our beef was cut to order, including some teeny weeny ribeyes (which I *love*, because sometimes, I want a little steak. Not a massive steak that I can't finish, and not a tough little scrap -- a couple little dry-aged ribeyes are so perfect for me!). The butcher shop does one cow at a time, so there is no mystery meat and not too much ground beef (PS, a good bit of the ground beef you see in our freezer pic was already there, not all from the Perrys). It was beautifully packaged.

The garden is AMAZING. We intended to just get a tour and some fresh tomatoes, but ended up leaving with a huge WAGON full of produce because everything just looked too good to pass on. The only think I did not take home were farm fresh eggs, and only because I already had 2 dozen in the fridge. They have chicken and duck eggs, and their own bee hives as well -- plus Julie makes SO many different things in the kitchen there, you could seriously stock your entire pantry from this farm and have so much variety.

Their crops and beef are organic -- NOT processed in a factory. The cows are beautiful and healthy. The bull was large and in charge. The chickens are cute & fluffy, and make the best buck-buckaw noises, and the ducks are very quack-quack-quacky. Happy chickens & ducks make yummier eggs. #facts. (Look it up.)

In short, this is real food from a place that makes you feel a little happier after you visit. What a difference it makes to know where your food came from -- not a lab or a factory, but a real farm tended by salt-of-the-Earth, really cool people. Thanks for letting us shop in the garden rows with a wagon!

Enjoyed a fun “U-Pick” afternoon at the farm. Our vegetable selection was nearly limitless! From luscious beefsteak tomatoes to snow peas, beets, shallots, carrots, lettuce, a huge selection of cherry tomatoes, fresh herbs, to corn! The Perry Farm produces premium farm-to-table vegetables….and farm-to-mouth as we nibbled as we picked! Heartily recommend!

Do not do business with Perry Ranch. Bought 2 steers from John Perry almost 2 months ago. One of the animals was a bull that John tried to pass of as a steer. Also he still has not provided the brand inspection for the steers. My mistake for trusting John, lesson learned. Clearly John Perry is either dishonest or completely incompetent. My advice is steer clear (no pun intended).

Everything we have tried from Perry Ranch was very good.
Various organic vegetables, fruit jams and baked goods. Tomatoes were so delicious, we almost bought them weekly. Can’t wait till next season!

Great meat and reasonable prices. They also sell fresh vegetables from their huge garden and fresh farm eggs from their happy chickens. Julie also cans a huge variety of products including pickles, jams and salsas. She also bakes sweets by ordering on line. Their butcher shop is amazing! Clean, clean, clean! They raise the cattle on their property and they provide custom cuts for the beef that they sell. If you haven’t visited their website, you absolutely should!
