I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Gud Ark animal sanctuary, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! The care and dedication shown to the nearly 400 animals at the sanctuary is nothing short of amazing. Each animal is clearly loved and well taken care of, and it’s heartwarming to see the passion and hard work of everyone involved.

The volunteers are incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to the welfare of the animals. They went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable and informative, sharing fascinating insights about the animals and the sanctuary’s mission. The educational aspect of our visit was fantastic, offering both adults and children a deeper understanding of how to respect and care for all creatures.

It’s inspiring to witness a place where animals are not only given a second chance but are thriving thanks to such compassionate care. Gud Ark is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an enriching and uplifting experience. Keep up the amazing work!

A Truly Heartwarming Experience at the Gud Ark Animal Sanctuary

A highlight of my visit was the opportunity to learn about the incredible rescue work that the Gud Ark team does. It’s heartening to know that the sanctuary is not just a place for animals to live out their lives in peace, but also a place of healing for those who have been rescued from difficult situations.

If you’re looking for a place to connect with animals, learn about animal welfare, or simply spend some time in a peaceful, nurturing environment, I highly recommend a visit to the Gud Ark Animal Sanctuary. The experience was both enriching and inspiring, and I left with a deep sense of gratitude for the incredible work being done here.

We reached out to Gud Arc for help with a peacock who had taken up residence in our yard. Although he was beautiful, we knew it wasn’t the safest environment for him. Ellise and her team were able to safely capture and relocate him. They took great care and were compassionate and professional. We are grateful to have them helping animals and people within our community.

Hands down this are the best animal sanctuary I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The first day I went there they closed and let my friend and I stay for over an hour after closing. We had no idea and they never said anything till we were leaving. The animals are so sweet and so well taken care of. They do an outstanding job of caring for these animals and giving them better lives. Not only do they take care of their animals but they even helped me one day. I was on my way to work and found two lost dogs. The owners were at doctor's appointments and still dropped everything to help me. They even offered some of their supplies if I needed to keep the dogs till we found their owners. However, within two hours we had found the dog's owners and they went home safely. They didn’t have to help me, especially being at the doctor's but they did and they went above and beyond like they always do! If you’re looking for a place to volunteer or even just a nice day with some wonderful people and animals come to The Gud Ark where you will be treated like one of the family!

This place is a hidden gem. My 11 yo daughter absolutely loved learning about the animals and being able to hold/play with them. The mission of this non-profit is amazing. I will absolutely be returning and telling everyone I know about it💗

We absolutely loved our field trip to The Gud Ark! The Gud Ark is home to almost 400 animals and it is obvious that they love every single animal here. As Ellese said, "Every animal has a name and a story."

We were able to visit and interact with so many different animals. The kids loved the tractor pull hay ride! The animals are so sweet and excited to meet people. We had a fabulous time and the kids learned so many different things.

They deserve all the support from our community with the amount of animals that they are caring for and the level of care they are giving them. Thank you for hosting us Ellese, we will be back!

I have a St. Bernard that I was not able to care for. After visiting the Gud Ark Animal Sanctuary I knew they would take wonderful care of her. Bailee has thrived and loves the farm life. Kyle and Ellese do a wonderful job making every animal feel safe, loved and nurtured. They even rescue special need animals. Great place to visit for children and adults as well.
