Very nice store for many specialty items unavailable at local big box grocery stores. The blue berries are always fresh and tasty.

However, The red velvet cake cupcakes we bought taste like strawberry. Will be bRinging them back tomorrow. Very disappointing.

It carries my favorite Virginia peanuts, salted of course. Great selection of beef and organic chicken. 🐔

However, the flowers we bought just today are half dead this evening. Bringing them back tomorrow.

Store has gotten very inconsistent over time unfortunately.

I am an Instacart Shopper and love to shop at this store for my customers. For the most part, this store is really well stocked and rarely has produce that has begun to turn. On occasion, I've had to get replacement items for my customers, which has not been an issue since they carry great alternatives. The staff has been great and they recognize me when I'm shopping there. I highly recommend this store.

Empty nesters, take note!
After years of shopping for the family, clipping coupons, and buying budget-friendly items in bulk, the Fresh Market is a breath of fresh air. Premium, high-quality food, and outstanding customer service; plenty of people on the floor available to help with whatever you need! The atmosphere is sublime, the music singable, and the meat and fish are behind glass, not plastic.

Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone. As regular shoppers at The Fresh Market, we expected a day filled with love and kindness, but instead, we experienced rudeness and unprofessionalism from an older female staff member with glasses in the floral department at this location.

When we first asked about Valentine’s-themed lollipops, she dismissively responded, “Can’t you see we don’t have anything?” an unnecessary and unhelpful attitude. We walked away, only to find the lollipops ourselves moments later.

Later, we requested assistance from another staff member to replace damaged roses in a vase. Before they could respond, the same staff member abruptly interrupted, grabbed the vase, and pretended to “fix” the flowers but left the damaged roses untouched. By the time we realized this, we had already checked out, as shown in the pictures.

This level of poor customer service and unprofessional behavior should not be overlooked. We hope management addresses this issue to ensure future visits reflect the welcoming, high-quality experience The Fresh Market is known for.

Love this market, beautiful flowers, great meats and seafood, and availability to buy for those with gluten and other sensitivities. I bought a boneless rolled turkey breast stuffed with roasted garlic stuffing for Thanksgiving and it was outstanding! They have excellent customer service 😃

I have been a loyalty member since it was offered. As of 1-4-2025 my phone number has been denied. If I try to start a new account it says my email and phone are already used. I don’t have another phone number, should I just shop elsewhere?

The store is wonderful. I especially love their bread selections.
Many items are overpriced tho. A lemon at fresh market was $1.29 while .59 cents at big Y. And they were bigger and prettier at Big Y
