I visited The Essential Pantry in University Place today (their grand opening was yesterday), and was delighted! I chatted with owner Wendy and her lovely employee about all the yummy olive oils and balsamic vinegars they have available. I was able to sample several as we exchanged recipe ideas, speaking of which they have several recipes available for customers to take and try. I sampled the Black Truffle Organic Dark Balsamic Vinegar and was sold. It was delicious over my mixed green salad topped with shaved parmesan accompanying sockeye salmon and prawns - delish! Be sure to visit The Essential Pantry!

My daughter and I were lucky to discover this new little shop this past weekend, Essential Pantry. We were immediately impressed with the look and feel of the shop. The variety of items available, make this our new go to for cooking essentials and gift giving. They carry a wide range of essentials such as infused oils and vinegars, locally sourced flavored salts, and teas. But they also have helpful books, kitchen gadgets and decor.
I bought a couple of the olive oils, for my hubby who loves to cook. OMG! They are so yummy!

From the friendly greetings, to the wonderful ambience. The Essential Pantry is a great place to try some new Tea. I especially recommend trying out the tasting bar! (If you are a fan of bread and oil) I will be visiting again soon. I want to help put this place on the map!
