It is a good go-to-spot for area locals. The store is clean. The meat counter looked like it held good cuts of meat. However expect to pay 10-20% for everyday items, some baking and food items were unusual to find, but they weren't worth the higher price. The service is good. While the shopping experience was pleasant, I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here. Aldi, as an example, has the same uniqueness in food items but there I would have been able to walk out of the store with a full shopping cart including breads, chips and produce. I had to refrain from buying breads, produce and fruits to stay within my budget.

Soooo disappointed in the changes made at my favorite store. I notice it’s not that busy any more. Everything is prepackaged now in the deli and meat counter! Miss the local eggs and especially the gift area!!!! Only come sparingly now because I love their chicken salad. Don’t understand the poor decision making! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Sigh….

New owners are changing too much too fast. Don't fix it if it's not broken. The warmth is fading. Yes employees are still amazing but the atmosphere isn't. AND today I reached for my favorite single Frannie's in the drink cooler which have been there for years and both of my favorite flavors were swapped out... 🤷‍♂️

It makes me sad to change my 5 star review to a 3 star. Some of the changes are ok, but I Hate the plastic containers the bulk food comes in. I think the plastic containers look ugly on the shelves and they take up alot of space in the trash can.

I stopped at the Country Store just out of curiosity as I was passing through the area. It had a wide variety of grocery items, including a lot of items that appeared to have been purchased in bulk and repackaged locally for retail. Prices seemed reasonable, although there wasn't a thing that I couldn't live without. I was disappointed that the Country Store wasn't more like a general store or market that also offered hand-made craft items to fill some of my Christmas shopping needs, but it was very clean and well-organized. The deli looked great. They also offered a variety of soups to pair with sandwiches for a hearty lunch.

We have been loyal customers here since before it was TCS. The meat and deli counter offer high-quality selections. The baking supplies and choices are superb, and prices are competitive. Good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables too. We were pretty disappointed to see the gift shop gone. Try the local frozen chicken or beef pies and the fresh subs!

Apparently new ownership in place. Store re-arranged somewhat with additional produce as you enter with a bakery shelf. Baked goods severely over priced. Go to Rise Up Bakery instead. It was late Saturday morning so I blame the poorly stocked fresh meat case on the fact they were closing in an hour. The entire gift shop area is gone. Shelving in place that currently looks like a food prep area. Their outdoor road signs highlight their sandwich offerings. Ice cream prices almost double of even a Stauffers that has weekly sales. The store looks depressing over all. The specialness it held previously has disappeared. Maybe new ownership in place trying to find their way? If so, better hurry. My visit made me very sad and I bought nothing.

Wish I would have stopped over here sooner. Dad is moving away from the area. Great deli and bakery items!!
