I recently had the opportunity to visit The Californian Commissary and I was very impressed. The store well-organized, and the owner is friendly and knowledgeable. I was particularly drawn to the wide variety of charcuterie on offer.
I've been in the store several times and it's my go to place for making a board.
Overall, Im very impressed with The Californian Commissary. There products are of the highest quality and the owner and his daughter are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a special meal or a unique gift or stuff to throw down a board!

During our visit, we were enchanted by the variety and quality of their offerings. We couldn’t resist picking up their Strawberry Vanilla Jam, which turned out to be amazing with some fresh bread. The flavors were perfectly balanced, making it a standout among the many jams we've tried.

The shop also boasts some of the most unique charcuterie boards I've ever seen. Each board is a work of art, designed to elevate your charcuterie experience. The selection of cheeses and chocolates is equally impressive, providing everything you need to create a gourmet spread at home.

We had a beautiful charcuterie board from The California Commissary and the owner was SUPER helpful and they have a great selection. They also have a nice selection of artisan chocolate. Highly recommend!

Amazing and incredible all around!! We stopped on the way back from Yosemite for a snack - the charcuterie snack box we purchased was delicious! The selections inside were so good we purchased more of a few of the items. The aged Gouda is perfection. Every time we go to Yosemite we will be stopping here - on the way there and the way back! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This place is a gem! They have so many options and the owner was a great host. I fell in love with the picnic baskets. If you are looking for an incredible selection of cheese and meat for charcuterie, this is THE place. They also offer "to go" charcuterie boxes for anyone who is looking for a quick option and doesn't want to build their own board. If you are looking for boards and knives, they have everything you need.

Just had a lovely cheese board at The Californian and it was fabulous! Wonderful variety of California cheeses with all the fixings. The shop also has many delicious treats perfect for home or gifts for others. The owner Evan is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. This place is ideal for picnics, concerts in the park or just a romantic night at home. Just wish we had one in my town!
