I ordered the Trip tip sandwiches and they were ok , the combo plates on the the other hand were extremely salty. They come with chicken,tritip,mac n cheese’s ,rice and ribs . My experience was overcooked and over seasoned rice n ribs, ribs hardly had meat Mac cheese is good but really dry. This my third time coming to this place. My opinion just do a quality food check just because it was super salty and dry

$38 for whole tri tip, extra $1.50 for cut, $43 after tax. A little pricey but it’s convenient since I’m in Riverstone. Good flavor, unfortunately the kid cutting the meat went the wrong way. He cut with the grain instead of against (see picture) so it ends up being stringy and chewy. Next time I’ll just buy whole and cut at home.

Today was the third time we’ve ordered their prepared food. On all three occasions we’ve had a bad experience. I want to make it clear that it was never the quality of the food. Only the customer service and management. They do not have a menu posted online nor do they have a website. I do not use Facebook or Instagram but could not locate a menu within either of those sites.

When you call, you are almost always met with attitude and resistance when inquiring about specials, menus or any questions about the food. They do not tell you the pricing or the total amount on the phone. They do not give a time for when the order will be ready and if you ask, they ask you what time you would like it to be ready but if you give any time less than 15 minutes they tell you that that will not work so then why ask? Just say 15 minutes.

The most recent visit today when I went in to pick up my order, I saw the price of my Big Boss BBQ on the menu behind the cashier posted as $24.99. When I was rang up, it came up as $25.99. When i asked about it, the cashier stated that they cannot do anything about the price and cannot change it. When I said that that was false advertising, you could tell that there was no interest in correcting it or even caring to dig deeper. I paid and left.

On the prior attempted visit, the person on the telephone snapped back at us when we asked how much a certain item was. The rest of the call went downhill from there so we decided to go elsewhere that day. I’m really hoping that management views these reviews and attempts to make personnel changes or train their staff. Great food but poor customer service will still drive a business into the ground.

First visit. Ordered pulled pork, tritip and chicken kabob sandwiches. All 3 were ample sized, well cooked and delicious.
The store also has a great variety of BBQ rubs and sauces.

First time today and I ordered the Combo plate $24.99. Good amount of food for the price- 2 BBQ chicken legs, 3 small ribs and a pile of tri-tip served with rice pilaf and cheesy mac and cheese and a small drink. I also ordered a small size cowboy beans. The beans had lots of flavor but they were still crunchy, not cooked entirely. The BBQ sayce is sweet. Unfortunately there was no seasoning on any thing so no flavor. The tri-tip is so well done it’s dry. The ribs were my favorite but it had no flavor other than the sauce.
