Three of my hens turned out to be roosters on fault with the hatchery, unfortunately I could only keep one, given I already had one rooster and not enough females for all four of them. Fights began to happen so I took the drive. Property owner was really nice and happy my roosters who I spent all this time raising have a chance! 100% recommend

Was very happy to find the Aviculture Exchange. We wound up with some roosters that we couldn't keep, and Tom was happy to take them, which was a relief given how difficult that can be especially in late summer. I also needed to add a few pullets to replace the unexpected roos, and he had a nice selection available for a reasonable price. Tom was interesting and knowledgeable, and the animal enclosures were spacious and clean.

This is a basically farm with a poultry specialty, and while Tom clearly likes his birds and takes good care of them, it's not an animal shelter. I left feeling confident that my roosters would be treated humanely in a safe and hygienic environment.

I called Tom because I urgently needed to rehome my chickens. He said he would take them in a heart beat. As soon as I got there he had me put them in a coop that had 2 chickens in it. My chickens are very friendly and had no problem. I def recommend this place

I had called Tom to see if he would take our two roosters we had raised as chicks which he stated he would. We dropped them.off and it appeared he had many other roosters and stayed that he keeps them and trys to find a new home for them only to return 3 weeks later to find out that my babies had been killed and was told it was the law that they had to be killed. I brought my granddaughter back to visit them to discover all the roosters had been killed. So sad and would not recommend this guy to anyone.

We were looking to rehome our five pens and we came across this place. We dropped them off and immediately the owner put them in a tiny cage all together like sardines! He claimed he had to get their coop ready because it was damaged from water. We were heartbroken overnight because we missed them and we’re undecided about if we left them at the best place. My husband called him today to find out if they were in their new coop and he said that they were still in the cage where we left them. We told him we were coming to get them and when we got there they looked miserable hungry stressed there was no water and no food!!! They cried when they saw us. We took them home. Never AGAIN!!!!
