Be aware that the Temple Wilton Community Farm may not be welcoming to individuals of color or those interested in the apprenticeship program. When I shared my concerns about negative experiences, I faced resistance and was asked to leave after only five days, despite apprentices typically receiving a month-long trial. Initially, I was offered a hybrid apprenticeship to help with the farm's needs, but suddenly, I was told there was no room in the budget for me. The environment here seems judgmental, with a tendency to undermine opportunities for certain individuals.

However, Lincoln Geiger stands out as a positive and supportive presence amid this difficult experience. I really wish I had been able to stay because the farm genuinely needs new structure and vision.

The yogurt is delicious and sold in glass jars. Well worth the half hour drive for me. Try some of the bagged cookies too, they are quite tasty.

Milk is for CSA members only. No butter available, several varities of cheese, meat was mostly ground, didn't have any steaks.
