My family brought our Nana here for her birthday and it was so special. She’s half French and was born in Los Angeles the same year the restaurant was opened. She loved her meal and the staff were wonderful. I’d highly recommend visiting the gem.

Yes, I did enjoy my dinner. Service was great. DO NOT valet park last night I came out there was three people by my car going through the trash bins in the parking lot and my keys were on the hood and the valet was gone. My car left wide open unlocked and the restaurant Took no responsibility. Their excuse was there’re an outside entity

The food was okay, not particularly amazing. The salmon was not quick cooked well enough. The Wedge salad was more garlic-y than I expected. The Creme Brule had a very heavy coat of burnt sugar on the top. Overall it wasn't bad, but I don't know if we'd go back.

Taix is a classic elegant restaurant and also a super fun bar with a warm fireplace. This place is for real Angelinos that know the best gems of the city. TAIX has been in LA since the late 1920’s. The food is always so delicious, a great wine list! The service is impeccable and it’s a family owned business. We love TAIX so much! It’s our family’s favorite for all celebrations!

Solid spot for authentic French food with a cozy, old-school ambiance. The drinks are good and strong. I had a dirty gin martini — did not disappoint.

The steak au poivre was great, and the prices are fair for the quality. Bonus points for the complimentary baguette and butter to start! Will return
