My friends and I visited Juke Joint right when they opened at 5:30 PM, and we were seated promptly with no wait – a great start to the evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the vibe had that laid-back Southern charm. The hostess informed, after seven there was live music & an extra five dollars per person at the table.

Our server, Maren, was excellent – friendly, efficient, and on point with her recommendations and timing. She made sure our orders were accurate and checked in just enough to make us feel taken care of without being overbearing.

As for the food, the Southern-style dishes hit the mark overall – really surprised by the collard greens ! They were my personal favorite.
However, a few disappointments did take the experience down a notch. They were out of ALL draft beer, bourbon glazed sweet potatoes and banana pudding – two staples I was genuinely looking forward to – were also unavailable. (which was odd because they just opened at 5 PM)

I’d definitely give Juke Joint another shot

My husband and I stopped into this beautiful establishment tonight, and it did not disappoint.
We got the fried green tomatoes.
Braised short rib, and I got the chicken salad.
Our waiter Anthony (Tony) provided us with perfect service. He was an absolute pleasure to speak with anytime he stopped by the table. He was patient and very helpful. In fact, the service was excellent from the woman at the door who guided us inside as well as the bartender, and the cherry on top was the quality of food the cooks put out. The music was just the right vibe even before the live music started. If we lived here this place would be a weekly visit for us.

😔
Last night (2/22/25) was my second time here & more than likely the last.

We had reservations for 945pm - the kitchen closes at 1030pm.

Our waiter began assisting us at 10:10pm. Never mentioning the kitchen closing in 20 mins.

Once he arrived at the table we ordered drinks and appetizers. It took forever to receive our apps & food. Our drinks didn’t come out until 10:45 after our entree orders were placed at 10:25. Our food came out after 11 & we were last to be served dinner & honestly it tasted like it as well.

The entertainment was good, great vocals & overall performance was good.

Over food wasn’t as good as everyone is proclaiming it to be in the comments. Presentation a 9! Taste 3.

They ran out of food & we weren’t told until last minute one person in my party was given a here u go meal , like huh.

I don’t think they should take larger parties after a certain time.

Best items on the menu: cream corn, Brussel sprouts , Mac & cheese & salmon everything else needs revision

✌🏾

It was my first time visiting Atlanta coming from Arlington, TX. I wanted to treated myself to some live music and after doing some research, I came across this place. I wasn't disappointed with my decision. I was seated ten minutes after arriving. Shortly after being seated, the band and the signer were on stage performing. The performance was so good that I didn't want my food until they took their break. My drink and food was amazing. I'm happy that I went and I would recommend this place to anyone would want to listen to live music and enjoy good food. It is added to my favorites list. Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The service was great. We had a very attentive server named Will who did us well. Atmosphere also amazing. The pianist who was there for brunch, was an absolute vibe. The music wasn't so loud, so we could still hear each other speak. I'll go back specifically for the appetizers! Omg they were amazing. I'd recommend the hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, and the bacon wrapped shrimp. They were all top tier!

Went here for a quick brunch since I was staying close by at the Ritz Carlton Atlanta.
For Sunday morning it wasn’t so busy and I was seated rather quickly. There’s lots of seating and there is a stage towards the back of the restaurant. There is a separate charge /fee for the entertainment. (Always read the signs when you enter a restaurant).
The restaurant is very dark, woody atmosphere. I wish it was a bit brighter and livelier atmosphere and setup.
They have a projector screen playing YouTube videos of music ranging from 70s, 80s and 90s hits. Later on there was a live performance on stage. He sang and played the piano beautifully.

FOOD: I love fried chicken and waffles for brunch and that usually my go to since it’s hard to mess up at new restaurants, and that’s exactly what I got. For a drink I had the Miss Ceely's punch Cocktail in pineapple flavor. Both were great. This chicken was seasoned very well. The waffle was fluffy and toasted just enough. For me it was a large serving and I got to go box.

SERVICE: Everyone in the restaurant was nice. My server was Anthony and he was very good at explaining the dishes and the drinks. He was amazing at recommendations and checking in.
He was great! An amazing server!

Ask a question, get a blank stare with an annoyed response. Customers will ask questions, HELLO? The phrase you all taught at onboarding must have been "give me a moment+ no eye contact" (not "I will be right with you + a smile"). Expecting juke-joint caliber fried wings? Nope, you'll get plate of grease+soggy breading- seasoning was just ok. Somebody's grandma is rolling in their grave. You didn't even drain the excess oil. (In the pic we took the wings off so you could see the grease.)The fried green tomatoes were fried to perfection, but NO SEASONING. Maybe use that breading on your chicken? The bacon-wrapped shrimp was tasty but soggy. Best thing served, the ranch dressing. (Sigh). Cocktails were ok. Above all, ACT like you like your job, everything else might be forgiven. We gave our leftovers to a hungry homeless guy. So, I guess someone liked it.

On a small vacation to Atlanta and I came to this place because it was close to my hotel. So glad I made reservations, because they had a wait. My reservations were for 830 and I was seated by 8:35 On a Saturday night😮. My waiter name was William, and he did an amazing job. He made recommendations, He didn’t bother us too much, but tentative when he was in our presence. I ordered the bacon wrap, shrimps, with the homemade macaroni and cheese. And my boyfriend ordered the famous fried chicken, with the collard green. Everything was hot, Seasoned and superb🙌🏾. This place, checked all the boxes, from amazing food, great service, great atmosphere, and the band. The band played everything that moves you. Definitely glad I stopped by🫶🏾
