This place is SO COOL. My toddler did not want to leave, and honestly, I didn’t either. So much to do and see if you love animals and exploring nature. Will definitely be back often!

We just had the best time at Sunflower farms the whole family really loved this place.(My kids are 2,7,8) While they do go over all the rules when you first get there I am glad they did since it was our first time and it really is for our safety and the safety of these incredible animals. Took about three minutes to go over and they gave us a nice rules list as a reminder for feeding animals, other ground rules etc. I recommend getting there early and staying as late as you can they close at 1pm( lots to do). We will be back next year maybe make an annual thing until the kids get too big. Thank you for the amazing day! 😎

Great place to visit with kids. Nice small venue for music with lots of local families. Beautiful and fun setting. Plenty of picnic spots and decent food trucks.

I took my 4 kids here last summer and we had an absolute blast.
Only reason we didn't give a 5 is because we won't be able to go again this summer due to the change in their open hours which is a shame since our weekends don't allow for an hour and a half drive to Longmont.
We're hoping next year there will be more days open to go.

Best place to let kids Interact with animals. Lots of things to do and one can even roast marshmallows. If you just want to lounge, there are hammocks. One can take food in to picnic.

Photos can never do this place justice! We went to the farm on one of their Summer Music Evenings and it was nothing short of magical. There are so many things to see and areas to play (for the kids). Music under the twinkly lights. We were so sad to leave! I can’t wait until the next time we come visit.

Sunflower Farms is truly one of the most magical places on earth, especially for children. We feel so lucky that our son gets to experience Sprouthouse Preschool and immerse himself in the farm every week. My son has been to several preschools and this is the first one that he has loved wholeheartedly and hasn't cried when I dropped him off. The staff are loving, nurturing, experienced in early childhood education, and true stewards of nature. Our son has learned all about caring for animals and the environment, gardening, the seasons, and farm life on top of a standard preschool education that includes learning about numbers and letters, reading, sensory inputs, arts, etc. But what we love most is that he gets to play and be outside in beautiful natural setting. We commute from Denver but sometimes I want to move to Longmont just so our son can spend more time on the farm; it is simply that wonderful!

Great place to let preschoolers get dirty and be kids all summer long.
Lots of birds walking around, lots of animals to feed, lots of toys to play with.
Wear your old shoes, bring a camera, a picnic lunch, lemonade, sunblock... and maybe some baby wipes and Band-Aids. There is a little wading pond under shady trees, bring a change of clothes if your kid can't resist water.
My kids are older now and we still try to come once a year.
