Decided to go check out Sugarplum Zoo after church. I am so glad that I decided to do this. It was such a perfect day. It was 72 degrees outside. It was perfect weather for me to bring my father along, who's 90 years old. As soon as we parked up on top, there was a hostess who was greeting us with a smile 😁and welcoming us and giving us a little mini tour and a bag of treats to feed the animals. These amazing books animals are rescued and we can pet them is which is so cool. I loved the potbelly the best. Plus, they had a little small fudge and chocolate little shop. My father loved the long horn cattle. They had another barn for wine tasting, too early in the morning to do that, but I bet it'll be amazing later. They had so many different animals. You're looking at goats and sheeps and longhorns, miniature ponies, small little cows of horses 🐎. There's just so much you have to come to visit this place to enjoy. This is perfect for all ages, young an old.

Good experience this is a rescue animals petting zoo u can purchase some treats and have your kids interact with some of the animals there is a FEE TO GET IN as well they give free chocolate test which they are very tasty u can buy more stuff on their small shop filet with cup cakes chocolates and ice cream!! Kids can learn on have to give proper care for animals so they don’t have to live in poor conditions

My husband and I were visiting Temecula, CA and had a few hours to spare so we looked up things to do in the area and found this unique, one-of-a-kind family friendly place.

We were so surprised to see the Chocolate store and Petting Zoo blended together. It was a fun and tasty place to visit. The ladies were both so kind and the animals all seemed to be in wonderful condition. This is saying a lot, since the weather was in the high 90's.

They have a unique selection of animals and a large selection of chocolates. Both are things I love. I highly recommend you check this place out. It was easy to find, since it's located among the wineries.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with the family. We found Sugarplum Zoo and had the greatest time walking around and loving on all the animals.. including Zeus! Don’t forget to check out their shop with their AMAZING chocolate treats ☺️

Hello,
We took our 2 year old, and we all had a blast. Staff was super friendly and informative. Definitely buy the food to feed the goats. Our daughter loved how the goats would just and dance for the food. The wondering pig 🐖 was my favorite part. He would just walk up and eat anything you dropped outside the goats' gates. We live in Wildomar and this place isn't to far for a full size petting zoo. We do have a few small petting zoos closer but this one is so much bigger.
Definitely going to be back again.

Awesome place to bring your kids or to have a date. You get to feed and pet all the awesome animals. Also the chocolate and gelato are both amazing!

Giving two stars as they claimed they were expanding. The animals live in unfit conditions. One of the goat pens only has access to concrete. This is inhumane for standing all day, much less sleeping on. All the pens are too small and aren't cleaned regularly. There are 4 donkeys in a pen about 12x12 feet, way too small! They have no enrichment and very little shelter. There are 4 large rabbits and 3 guinea pigs in a hutch about 3 feet wide and 5 feet long that is all stone on the bottom. They have nowhere to dig and no hideouts big enough for the rabbits. They just got a baby buffalo and I'm very concerned about where they will put it as it grows! The small brown cow is one on one of its front legs and the miniature horses feet are deformed! All the animals are very bored and it gets incredibly hot up there!

Great simple zoo...plenty of animals to pet. About 20-30 minutes to go thru slowly and to feed some of the animals. You can buy food to feed some of the animals. We went June 2024 and saw a camel, zebra, goats, ostriches, bunnies, Llama, and many more! 5-15 from wineries and has wine tasting on site also.

Gelato on site was great too!
