I love Stouts Market. All the different vegetables and 🌽
Been buying from them for years. This year the weather must have not cooperated. Sadly the first dozen corn was so bad we couldn't eat. Dry & chewey. From North Liberty and their 🍅 were $4 lb.
The 2nd dozen I got on hwy218 9& 1/2 good ears and the 3rd dozen only 10 & 1/2 ears. Their 🍅 were $3 lb. Why the price difference? Anyway disappointing corn this year.

I was happy to find local honey at the stand. She said she had her own bee hive on the farm if I'm not mistaken. Thee best honey I've ever tasted! The peaches n cream corn was very good too.

Just bought sweet corn. Total disaster. Lots were not even ready. Ears were smaller than an ear of popcorn. Most wasn't worth husking let alone cutting up to freeze. Very disappointed and really expensive for what I got. The deeper I went into the bag the sadder it got. Normally they take pride in their goods. I'm not sure why this was sold. What a waste. Supposed to get 2 cups out of six ears. Doubt I'll get 3/4 out of a dozen. Anyone know a place to get good corn. Horrible experience. will drive by in the future. If I could it would be a negative rating. Apparently they do not care about quality. Now I know why government control is needed

We have stopped here on our annual trip from Georgia to Northern Minnesota. We always get a couple of dozen ears of corn and tomatoes and cucumbers. Always fresh great tasting vegetables. I always look for the stand. This year we came through on the 28th oh June and was disappointed the stand wasn’t open.
On our return home as I was driving I caught a glimpse of the stand, and went a little further down the highway where I could turn back. We loaded up with corn, tomatoes, and cucumbers to take home to Georgia. Love the place, and the people are always the greatest. We have enjoyed the corn, frozen. Some and look forward to seeing you again next year.

Stopped in riverside at the stand just off 380 bought cantaloupe tomatoes and corn!! Corn was fairly good, tomatoes were okay but the cantaloupe was horrible we couldn't eat it bitter to the point of rancid sat on counter for a day and a half should have been ripened!! I threw the whole thing away very unfortunate!!

Best produce I've had in a long time. Plus they will choose melons and tomatoes for you if you tell them when you plan on serving them.
