Waa a very unpleasant experience. Went to shop on 12/13/2024 around noontime. The cashier was very rude. She had a number of customers waiting in her line. She came around the counter and looked at the line and then said, register 11 is open and so is self check out. Lane 11 had people in line with lots of items in there carts. The people in her line only had a handful of items in each cart. She came around the counter a second time and said " seriously some of you need to go to self check out or register 11. She was slapping things down on the conveyor. And just acting angry and rude to people. She did cover her name tag up. But on the receipt her name said Ann. She should not be working in customer service!!

Awful..the worst ever..It was March 5th..last Wednesday...I went in between 300 and 330. She was complaining that she was th he only one..Why dont people go to self checkout waswas the only
TudeSSheBasica cashier. ANN MAYBE. Sooo rude And i yold the blonde at front end...She fidnt care a bit

On line it said Stop & Shop 648 Washington St Norwell, MA is open until 11pm. I arrived there at 10:42pm only to be told by a polite gentleman the store closed at 10pm. I don't appreciate the incorrect, misleading information on line. I drove out of my way, and timed it so I was there b4 11pm.

Plenty of out of date and nearly out of date items. Lots out of stock items. Many items are more expensive than other local markets. Some as much as a dollar more than other stores. I don’t think the store will be around for much longer. Shame because it used to be a great store.

Was treated like a criminal.
I’m 24 years old and recently moved here from Connecticut. I came to this location with my boyfriend (25) to purchase a case of light alcoholic beverage and a few other miscellaneous items. Before we even put our items down we were asked to present our IDs, which we politely obliged. Because my ID is out of state, the cashier said she could not complete the transaction. I presented my old ID from when I was underaged as a second form of identification, which has all the exact information. Our transaction was voided and we were pulled aside to the customer service area while the cashier contacted the manager. After waiting we were told we could not be serviced. I feel incredibly disrespected. I recommend going to Market Basket as they have much better customer service.

I'm updating my review, I think management saw the old post and cleaned the hoods because there's no more strong kitchen-y smell! 5 stars ☺️🤗

Ground beef is on sale this week. Made meatballs and my kid hit an entire paper towel (not ours) on his first bite. Looks like the bottom liner of a foam package, but not from my package. Can you tell me whether it’s toxic?

I’ve been going to various Stop & Shop locations for at least a decade now. The store has packed expired food in my curbside order on several occasions. However, sending food with insects in it is a new one.

Not too friendly at this store anymore. i don't go here too often, and prices are too high, and the customer service guy is an ass
