LOVE this store, fresh and convenient.
Always walk out of this store happy with new food items to try.
Bagels are so good, and vegetables/fruit always so fresh.
Stew brand coffee is great, and all the adorable animal character is cute enough to even make an adults day.

Stew Leonard’s is a fantastic grocery store with an impressive selection of fresh produce and meats, though I wish more were sourced from local farms. While the prices are slightly higher, the unique entertainment—like the singing farm animals—adds a fun touch. I absolutely love their flavored coffee beans, fresh orange juice, and lobster rolls in the summer! However, the maze-like store layout can make quick shopping trips challenging, especially during busy times. Despite that, it’s a great place to shop overall!

If you live in Connecticut I don’t see how you wouldn’t love Stew’s. This has been a staple of mine since I was a kid. It is food heaven. They have everything you could possibly be grocery shopping for, as well as hot foods and ready meals to take home, and an ice cream bar.

I recently went to get my Christmas tree and the process was so easy. The trees are all pre-cut and after you pick one, an employee quickly runs over to help carry it over to the wrapping station. They wrap it and do a fresh cut of the stump, and then give you a ticket to pay with. We walked around the grocery store and shopped while they held onto our tree. We paid with our ticket at checkout, and then we simply had to drive around the building for pick up. They did all of the work — threw the tree in the back of our truck, and in other cases strapped it to people’s cars. The process is super quick and easy, and I appreciate how helpful they are!

I've been going to Stew's for years because of the quality meats, seafood, and produce. The prepared meals and salads are quite good too. Produce can be a little pricey if not on sale, but then again, this place has quality products. The staff working there are always helpful and pleasant. Piece of advice, don't shop when you're hungry.

Gotta love Stew Leonard’s! Great selection of groceries and treats. Plenty of animatronic animals to entertain you while you shop. 🙂

I've come here every so often over the last 5 years. The store is always clean and organized. I enjoyed coming here for the hotel food bar the most! My kids love it as well. They have a lot of fun in the carts with child seating! The stores mascot is cute, and the education paired with it is meaningful.

This supermarket was a whole experience to visit! So many quality products left and right! The fact that you get to try Samples in every corner is astonishing! I’m also very happy to find a stash of yellow dragon fruit!! Those are so hard to find and in here they have a mountain of yellow dragon fruit! They have this machine that makes stunning peanut butter right in front of your eyes! They also sell many choices of high quality single origin Extra Virgin Olive Oil. My wife and I are really considering making this our default supermarket.

This was our first time visiting Stew Leonard’s stores and I was pleasantly impressed. We went there for their meat selection and the variety of what they offer as well as prices at the butcher shop were awesome! Then we learned that their seafood selection was as impressive. And to top it of we found that the choices of local produce were as good as well. We’ll be back there again! 😁
