May not be a fair review because we did not have the chance to try the full menu.

We are here to pass some time before our dinner reservation in Capitala. So we just ordered a steam clam and three beers.

The $28.95 steam clams only come with seven clams in a very big plate. I can’t really justify the price for this dish.

But the waitress was very nice. Coming over to check on us for many times.

I may have better opinion next time after I try their other items on the menu.

The atmosphere and decor were cute! The food was very fresh ,full of flavor and delicious !! Service could have been better and quicker.
Wait, time wasn't that long (15 minutes for lunch on Sunday), The call back is convenient. You can sit outside and enjoy the view till they call you. Overall, it was a good experience. Will definitely go back !! Thank you. Our family enjoyed everything!

The food and service were wonderful. The chowder was delicious, as were the halibut and seafood pasta. The lighting was a bit too bright for dinner, but that's my only complaint. Getting to see the sea lions at play was so cool! I don't know how often they are there, we may have just gotten lucky!

The good:

Excellent food, ordered the stagnaro tortellini it was delicious! Perfectly cooked with very good combination of the dried tomatoes and clams and shrimp. Only gripe is theres only like two pcs of shrimp, no scallops. Fried calamari was perfectly battered and seasoned. Fish and chips may need a bit more seasoning tho. Prices are expensive but ur paying for the ambiance and good food.

Now the bad:

AWFUL SERVICE. We were waiting for our server to come up to us for several mins, i had to ask a passing waitress (arianna) who is our waitress then responded: “its me”. She passed us 3-4x without acknowledging us, before calling her attention, no water or drinks etc.

At the end of the meal we asked for a box, gave us the box then we asked for covers for the sauces she went to the counter typed in another persons order came back 5 mins later with the lids that are literally beside her.

On exiting the restaurant she didnt even bother to say thank you it had to be the front desk who said it when he noticed she didnt say anything.

I wasnt sure if she thought we wouldnt tip, hence the bad service, gave her 18% tip despite that awful service.

Wont be coming back, and telling my friends not to go here. Great food tho.

I have been coming to this Stagnaro Bros Seafood restaurant for many years now. They offers plenty of seafood options, a full bar, Spacious Seatings right on the water off the Santa Cruz Wharf! I definitely enjoy eating here because of lively music and especially the most beautiful views here! My normal go to is usually the Famous Giovanni Seafood Ciopino. Other times I would order Fish and Chips, Clam Chowder, Seafood Pasta, and or fish Tacos. Beside the lovely restaurant, Stagnaro Bros also have their Fresh wholesale Seafood available for takeout. Huge selections plenty of Seafood Options!!!Great Indoor/outdoor dining! Gorgeous Sunshines during this time of year!💙08162024

This was a nice little spot. We walked the pier, and the food in the to go window looked fresh, so we figured we would give it a try. It didn't disappoint. The fresh catch of sea bass was fire. We enjoyed the calamari strips. The tartar sauce was very good. We also enjoyed the fresh oysters. They were so fresh and tasty.

Every time we visit, we make sure to stop here. Our bread bowls were amazing, as they always are, but unfortunately, our service not, again. This isn't the first time our server and other servers on the floor were visibly annoyed that their customers were there. I really love this restaurant, I hope the owners or management will see this review this and treat their employees like their employees should treat their customers.
