Where do I begin... Reilly and Austin from the SouthBay Food Company exceeded all of our expectations for our son's Wedding welcome reception. As parents of the groom, we wanted to give a very special rehearsal dinner for our son and his beautiful bride. The Redondo Beach Hotel’s rooftop was the perfect venue and we needed to find the perfect caterers. We did in SouthBay Food Company. Our challenge set by our son was to find a caterer who could create food stations from everywhere the couple lived and feel deeper in love. This was for 75 guests who came to the wedding from all over the world. This meant that Austin and Reilly needed to design the menu for each station. The couple arranged a tasting and called the instant they left Reilly's kitchen so excited! He gave them incredible options to choose from and they loved the food. The menu was locked in and we met at the Redondo to review the final details and to discuss the stations.

Fast forward to the day of the event. The servers and kitchen staff were so positive, accommodating and wonderful to work with. Each going above and beyond to make the event so special. At one point we decided to bring out cakes to celebrate some birthdays and the staff helped to cut and serve the cakes which was incredibly helpful. The food was every bit as good or better than the tasting (according to the happy couple). The San Francisco and Seattle station had amazing crab cakes, shrimp louis and mini chowder bowls in sourdough bread bowl. New Orleans had gumbo and po boys. Prague was schnitzel and cheese and sausage board which was beautiful and potato pancakes. Finally New York had mini reubens and bagels and lox. The guests were so impressed with the food and service.

Thank you SouthBay Food for making our event so unique and special. We would recommend and endorse this catering company to anyone, My son said that SouthBay "actualized the vision" of exactly what they wanted and exceeded all expectations.
