Got the beef empanadas, French onion soup (my new #1 favorite ever French onion soup), Peking duck, and elk medallions… utterly blown away! The atmosphere is unique, prices really are on par or actually even a little better than what you’d expect for such a succulent meal. Our server Moira was informative, knowledgeable and super friendly. She definitely added to the experience! 15/10 would recommend!

Stopped in after the ice festival for dinner on 2/8/25. We weren’t sure what to expect, but man oh man! Everything was delicious! I’m a bit of a foodie… slightly boogie. And this place ticked all the boxes. I highly recommend the Poblano burger and the Ricotta starter. Caesar dressing on the salad was superb as well. Don’t skip it! Make this place a stop along the way, for sure.

Smoke Cantina is a true marvel. It has what every restaurant should strive for--excellent food, attentive service and stylish decor. The Cantina would thrive in any major Metropolitan area. It is a blessing to have it in an area that typically lacks restaurant diversity. I devoured a delectable crabcake entreé with a sweet potato side dish. My dinner companions all raved about their choices (which included a vegetarian option)! Looking forward to returning for another sumptuous meal.

From the moment we walked in the door until we left the staff were very friendly. A nice environment. The selection of food is eclectic and all look so good. The owner Danielle came over to talk with us to make sure everything was okay. That was really nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and drinks and will definitely be back to try some more goodies. Thank you. Franklin is lucky to have such a restaurant.

Smoke Cantina was very accommodating to our 12 person party. We rarely can get all of us together so we had to take pictures. The staff and even the owner took photos for us. The food was amazing as always. Everyone loved their meals, even family from out of town that have more variety. Also, my step dad couldn’t quit commenting on the craftsmanship of the physical restaurant itself.

Smoke Catina brings a flavorful fork to Franklin. Chef Benson offers creative cuisine. The atmosphere is modern and relaxed. The staff is personable. They truly want you to enjoy your dining experience. Chef Benson herself will mingle with guests and assures you are receiving only the best.
Stephanie and Holly are great at handling reservations and work to get you the table time you need. Lindsey is frequently our waitress and she is so fun, sweet and has a great personality.
Definitely recommend stopping in for brunch and coffee or dinner and a signature cocktail or Vellum brew.

The food here was fresh, fantastic, and a wonderful play on the senses. The chef’s use of textures is genius. I would recommend the crab sandwich, homemade ricotta, and tamale cakes! The tamale cakes were especially tasty. My (albeit small) gripe is that the room does not have enough soft items in it. While we were there another larger group was having lunch, the volume in the room was overwhelming at times. I will reiterate, still go here! The menu is fun and has something for everyone to love.

First time here and it was wonderful.
I had Double E Meatloaf and it was spectacular. Can't say enough how good it was.
Wife had French onion soup and Cesar salad with chicken. Other couple, one had duck the other had mushroom ravioli.
Everything was really good.
Go there. You won't regret it.
Waitress was super nice too.
