This is a great small town brewery with amazing flavors. I travel all over the country trying hazy IPAs and this is my absolute favorite so far. Sampled a variety of beers from their golden ale to their hazy and even had a sip of their imperial stout. Everything is solid. Not an off flavor in sight. Beer aside, this place is perfect. Clean and comfortable space with super friendly staff. If you consider yourself someone who knows good Arizona beer you need to get down here and get a sample straight from the source. 10/10 will go back

Came for the Clarkdale Brewfest and had an amazing time. Brewery is clean and staff are friendly. Small town Arizona vibes with all the comforts of a local brewery. I really enjoyed the Mango sour and Prickly Pear seltzer. Also the other IPAs. 10/10 would recommend.

One of my favorite breweries since moving into the area. Great vibe, friendly staff and most importantly, really great brews! They have live music and food trucks on certain dates and you can order food from across the street and have it delivered to you or pick it up!

Appropriately located in Clarksdale, Arizona, an infamous town with a once booming population, centered around smelting the copper that came from the Jerome mines.

The building Smelter Town Brewery resides in today was built in 1915 and served a variety of purposes, including an undertaker’s office, a laundromat, and even a local car dealership showroom.

The history of the building is on full display throughout the taproom, where articles and photos of what the town once was are posted throughout.

The taproom itself is fairly expansive. Its rustic theme fits in perfectly with the aged stained wood and bricks.Their ceiling is donned with "copper tiles" that really make you feel like you might have sitting there back in 1915.

We enjoyed a flight while there. We tried their:

?Sluice Box Mango Habanero Smoothie Sour | 5.8%
?‍?Patina Vienna Lager | 6.0%
⛏️Modern Miner Milkshake IPA | 6.8%
?Hop Deposits Hazy IPA | 6.5

They offer pretzels, Nachos, and Sausages to snack on, or you can bring your own food in.

We were a bit disappointed that we weren't able to stay and hang out longer as the vibe and beers at this place were some of the best in AZ. We are glad we made the stop before heading to Jerome for some ghost town action.

*edit* we also stopped by the Tuzigoot National Monument, which was an epic 110-room prehistoric Pueblo.
