My partner and I host day long yoga retreats at Slide Ranch and it is the most magical place. They have a beautiful yurt perched over the ocean and a commercial kitchen/dining area that make hosting easy. The grounds are awe inspiring, the staff are incredibly kind and the wildlife and farm animals are amazing to behold. Definitely take a trip to Slide soon and check it out, it's always open to the public!

Absolutely loved hosting my yoga retreat at Slide Ranch. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly helpful—responsive, informative, and genuinely supportive in making the event smooth and special. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even more breathtaking in person. The views, the yurt, the land—it all created the perfect container for deep connection and restoration. Wonderful and fun place to walk around and learn new things! My family and I walked to Slide Ranch from the Muir Beach view point parking lot, it was about 1 mile each way. Lots of animals, including goats, ducks, and chickens. There’s also a nice garden with vegetables you can pick and a pretty little trail to the beach! Highly recommend this spot for the family!!

I absolutely love this place! I bring my children and family here multiple times every year for camping and summer camp. The director, Myla, is smart and warm - as all are the staff.

Came here to use the trailhead for a hike down to the tide pools. Park in the parking lot, go down past the goats until you get to a random sign with a long store pointing to the right. Follow that trail to the "dome trail", past the "bone Grove", and once you find the dome, walk across the meadow until you see the path down to the beach. Make sure to check when low tide is!

A magical place to host an upscale dinner party with an unbeatable view. We recently celebrated my wife's 30th here with 25 friends for dinner and camping(option for glamping). We had a personal chef come and use the new commercial kitchen located in the new Farm to Table Teaching Center building. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook for large groups and can seat up to 30 inside with plenty more room on the modern deck. We chose to eat down by the yurt which is located about 50 yards from the kitchen and looks directly out over the ocean. After dinner, we sat by the fire to enjoy the evening a little more. Those of us that camped were in awe of the view the next morning and made our selves at home in the dome which has everything you need to fix a hot gourmet breakfast. The campsite is set away from the ranch by a 1/4 mile behind a group of cedars so you feel you are the only ones on this secluded shoreline.
I worked with Jesse who is the operations manager there. He was very communicative and helpful as this was my first time planning this size event. Gabe was onsite the day of and took complete care of us.
If you are looking for a place to wow your guest not far from the city this is the place!

A fun place to explore for an afternoon. Lots of coastal trails and some pretty amazing tide pools. The ranch itself has been around for ever and if you habe young ones they would really get a kick out of learning while exploring!
