We saw a birdbath online and discovered that the Sixteen Acres Garden Center was a distributor for it. Several blocks from our home!
We didn't expect them to have it but we were going to order it.
Surprisingly we saw the birdbath and in the finish, we wanted it in. The birdbath gods were smiling down on us today! We looked at many of the birdbaths and fountains and a wonderful man, Casey, came over and started a conversation.
He is very friendly and very knowledgeable and it was a joy to bounce our ideas off of him.
After contemplating which birdbath to purchase for quite a while we finally decided on our original choice. Casey told us to sign up for the rewards program and the cashier helped us set it up to get $10 off! Bonus!
Casey packed it into our car with care and we were off!
When you have an experience like this cherish it and share it. Our garden and landscaping mostly come from here but on this visit, we felt more connected to our neighborhood which is always a wonderful feeling.

Sixteen Acres Gardens is a lovely place to shop for houseplants and potting /garden accessories. They are a little pricey but, pest free- a biggie. The staff is so pleasant and knowledgeable and I always find healthy plants to come home with. I do wish they had a bigger selection of Hoya plants (pet friendly and gorgeous blooms). There aren’t many local places that carry these and would prefer to shop in person than online. Try this place you will be hooked.

I was amazed as soon as I walked in the door! This is the first time we have been to sixteen acres garden center and we will be coming back! I brought 3 of my kids and they all found so many things they loved! We bought some amazing plants, planters, and even stuffed animals. The staff was super friendly and they all came to welcome us and ask if we needed help with anything. I highly recommend this place for all your gardening needs!

Went above and beyond to help me. Very nice and helpful people and beautiful houseplants. They have great supplies to make your own soil mix too. I’ve purchased a ponytail palm, spider plant, inch plant, banana tree, and a money tree. I’ll be back for more!

If you need grass seed, go here! I had the most helpful experience from Casey. This guy really knows his stuff when it comes to grass and seed. I don't know a lot about this stuff, but enough to be able to start a lawn myself. He took the time to explain everything and calculated out how much seed I would need between the blends recommended for the new part of my lawn and for overseesing the rest. After leaving there, I felt so much more at ease about this project because of Casey! Thank you so much!
