The staff was very friendly and informative, and their selection of perennials had more variety than I've seen at most other plant nurseries. I picked up quite a few things that I hadn't planned on finding, and I will be back for some scarlet pumpernel!

Love this farm! I get my plants here every spring. They have a huge variety of geraniums in beautiful colors.Great flower and plant selection at reasonable prices. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I loooove Shiel's! They have a wide selection of well priced healthy perennial and annual plants, and are happy to answer questions or give advice if you need it. They are a family owned and worked farm, a part of the community, and it shows. I have shopped here for plants for years upon years and I will continue as long as I can plant.

I love to go there the day they open and once every week or two to add to my gardens throughout the season. She always has a great variety that continually changes. There is always something different. Just love it! Very kind and pleasant service.

I stopped in to inquire about annual/vegetable starts possibly going on sale, not perennials, annuals, which often are marked down by August, however it is July so I asked as I saw other greenhouses marking down annuals recently. I walked in and had to ask someone to answer a question, neither women readily acknowledged me, then presumably the owner kind of chuckled in an offended way at the question, with her back 75% towards me still; entire interaction she never bothered to turn and face me. No greeting, or goodbye either. I tried to explain why I was asking, as they seemed offended by the question, the customer they were chatting with, prior to me entering, was nicer than any staff and smiled and basically answered for the workers. It appears to me the customer service here is not great, I will NOT be back. I work down the road from them so would check out the place normally, even if things are not on sale, and I work at a plant nursery, so I know how sales work at the end of the season, and we always offer quantity discounts to landscapers, but above all, first and foremost we make eye contact and are polite, we treat customers with respect ALWAYS.
