Such an amazing experience! They had the sauna all ready for us near the river just outside of Seward, and even kept the temp lower because they knew we were bringing kids with us.

The sauna was beautiful and cozy, with a vestibule area to hang out, change, cool off, or play (the kids) and large windows to take in the views.

Easy to find since the owners shared a dropped pin location and the instructions on how to use the sauna were straightforward.

10/10 would love to do it again. Definitely recommend to make your trip to Seward even better!

Highly recommend this experience. My son won the portable sauna at the Mermaid Festival and the experience was phenomenal! The Sauna was impeccably clean and beautiful. It was very much a spa experience at the beach. Matt was very friendly and kind. He gave us instructions on how to use it, and provided everything we needed for the sauna (firewood, water, and floor mats). The kids had a great time and everyone was impressed at how beautiful it was. Thank you Seward Saunas for making this an unforgettable experience!

10/10 recommend! I flew into a gravel bar on resurrection river and thoroughly enjoyed a few hours of sauna and cold plunge with great friends. It was a surreal experience and one of the coolest things I’ve done with my airplane. :). There’s something pretty special about sitting in a sauna gazing in a wild river, complete with Eagles fishing, and surrounded by stunning mountains. We are so lucky in Alaska!

We had the most incredible time at Seward Saunas! These are the perfect addition to any relaxing weekend in Seward, rain or shine. There is nothing more peaceful than sitting in a beautiful sauna admiring Alaska’s breathtaking views. The sauna experience was enhanced by the attention to detail and the comfortable, well-maintained facilities. We were looking for a sauna to visit on our trip to Alaska and stumbled across this business. We thought getting a private sauna would be way too expensive and we were staying in a hotel with nowhere to deliver to, so we didn't think this would work for us. But we called and discovered they will deliver a private sauna to a public river area for a very reasonable price and ended up booking an amazing private sauna for the night. It was absolutely worth every penny and one of the highlights of our trip. The river location was perfect for a cold plunge too. If I ever visit Seward again I will definitely be making this part of the trip.

Dont be fulled by all 5 star reviews, IT'S REAL!!! Starting from the view, the service, and wonderful time spent. This sauna is very well built and the guys who made the sauna have thought everything through. When it gets dark they have lights in the sauna. The snack bar adds a nice vibe that really works well with the sauna. The best part was the view that you get from the big windows. You see mountains, a river, and the clouds that are really close. Once you get heated up the best way to cool down is in that river. The owners are really nice and very caring people. Awesome 10/10 experience!

We had an amazing time. The sauna is gorgeous inside and out. The location was spectacular: on the Exit Glacier river. We spent hours going into sauna, taking a plunge in the river, enjoying the views and good food, repeat. Such a treat!
We saw snowy mountains, two black bears and several bold eagles through the big windows in the sauna, felt like we were inside National Geographic magazine?️

My husband and I had the absolute best time! Such a unique and incredible experience right on the Resurrection River! Tim and his brother were very responsive and dropped it in the perfect place, allowing us to cold plunge in the river and then warm up in the sauna! 12/10 recommend!
