Wow! A must stop while in Petaluma. My daughter is an avid gardener, and all she could talk about as we rolled thru town... was this place. She just knew she would find all her specialty seeds.
And she did!
She was very satisfied with the incredible inventory here...and the knowledge base with the staff as well. They were so helpful and informative! We were here for an hour so...yeah, it's a cool place for sure!

Happened upon this store and didn't realize until I was inside that this is THE Baker Creek seed store. Like a kid in a candy shop, I marveled at all the seed packets and seed starting materials. What a lovely place with a lot of great information and items!

Frustrated by the limited seeds at your home and garden store? I was. I went looking for something as simple as tarragon seeds. Why were they so hard to find? I tend to believe that our food is intentionally limited by big corporations. The Seed Bank is FULL of seeds of all varieties and other gardening cool things like hand tools for serious gardeners (I'm going back to get one I really liked.) Seed-nerd heaven. Just go. Or order online to keep them in business. WE need heritage and non-GMO seeds and foods.
