I came down to visit my brother and niece they told me to check out Save a Life Thrift Stores. I love to thrift shop and see what deals I can get. They help the animals and i have 4 rescues of my own. When I entered the store there were 2 guys up front. One greeted me with a very stern voice asking if I wanted to hear the sales. I said yes. I saw another guy sitting down, he was on his phone. I walked around the store and noticed some of the prices on items that are low at other stores were high here. My brother told me this store is clean but I saw trash on the floor. There was another guy who came out behind a curtain really fast like in a rush and almost ran into me when I was walking by the area. I went to the front to ask a question but the 2 gentleman were talking and ignored. I stood there for 2 minutes. The experience was not what my brother told me. they help the animals but this store is not what i was told about. the store is very friendly especially the female supervisor but I saw no female supervisor the store was not very friendly. I will not shop here again.

No go they sell on ebay amazon all stuff in store is what they couldn't sell and overpriced. Many items labeled $40.00 ridiculous including cat food that petsmart petco sells for $18.99. This store needs to lower price this is a kill shelter not a save shelter.

I would rate this zero stars but this site doesn't give you that option. I went to visit this local thrift store because of the charities they donate too. So I walked in and 5 minutes passed no one greeted me or even smiled for that matter. The person in the store was distracted and preoccupied with his phone to even notice I had walked in. I've worked in retail for years and customer service is a priority. Without customers their is no buisness. These employees need to be retrained , everyone in the store looked lost as if they had no supervision and from my observation as if they were just winging it. This is unacceptable in retail or any buisness establishment. If I were the owner of this store I would want better quality people working for me that displays proper etiquette and have pride in their work. Poor customer service. And as I walked out I didn't purchase anything no one even said thank you it's like I wasn't even there. I was invisible!!!! So I stopped outside to look at the website and I knew instantly to write a review. And I also noticed that when people donate to these charities how do they confirm that donations have been distributed to the cause Most recent donation was posted in 2020. Like I said I was drawn to this thrift store because of the cause. I am a animal lover, kennel manager and I've volunteered for many shelters and worked with several animal rescues so I am deeply concerned. If I was to donate to K9 charity how do I confirm that it's actually being donated to the cause and not kept for a individual's financial gain..... perhaps dishonest employees or management. .
As if the bad customer service wasn't enough, this drew Red Flags for me! Upper management should really look into this because it's bad for buisness.

I have donated and shopped here since you were first opened.
I have always felt that you have the cleanest Thrift Store! Your entire inventory is always clean and in great working condition. Your prices are very reasonable and I find it’s difficult to keep my purchases down…in other words, I always spend more than I had budgeted. 🤭

I recently brought in a full car of carefully packed (in boxes 📦) items and after a woman ahead of me was finished unloading all kinds of stuff, most were loose (drapes, pillows etc) there was a fellow helping her unload…I then started to offload my boxes and placed them together, off to the side. As this woman drove away the fellow was very agitated 😡 and started to open many of my boxes (in and out of my car) he started telling me “we can’t take any of this” and proceeded to put some of my boxes back into my car. Needless to say, I was terribly upset and told him that I only donate my good items to your business and all the other items of very little value or condition, I give those to Goodwill!
He could have cared less!
I had planned to go into the store after dropping off all of my items BUT I was SO upset that I took everything over to Goodwill. I then just drove on home. I have been hesitant to return much less donate or shop (I really don’t want to run into that fellow again)
So sorry to have to bring this up BUT how many others have had this same experience?
From now on I’ll have my items picked up via your truck… I will not stop 🛑 donating to your incredible organization.

This is nice and cozy store with wonderful products at great prices with frequent discounts. There is even a warehouse with furniture and other knick knacks. You can feel good about shopping here because it's a nonprofit. I would definitely recommend shopping at this store if you're nearby.

Today was my first time going to this store, and unfortunately I did not have a good experience. I picked out a few pants and skirts from the “women’s pants $2.00” and “women’s skirts $2.00” racks. I also picked out some jean shorts overalls from the “women’s jeans $3.00” rack. I go to checkout and the cashier is saying that the pants and skirts are $2.50 each, even though the sign on the women’s pants and skirts racks CLEARLY say $2.00 each. He then goes onto say the jean shorts overalls are $5, and I say I got them from the “women’s jeans $3.00” rack and he claimed that since they were overalls they are $5. I found this funny because there is no rack in the store that said “Jean shorts overalls $5”. They also did not have a blue tag on them either, so it was not apart of the blue tag clothing priced at $5. I ended up putting everything away and walking out. I find it ridiculous that he tried to upcharge me and not stay true to their prices. This was my first and last time going to this store.

In response to your reply, since there was no blue tag on the jean short overalls, and considering they were in the “women’s jeans $3.00” section you should have honored the price. And your pricing system being down is not very much of an excuse, when the racks are not even 10 feet away from the register and have the pricing right on top of them clear for everyone to see. Instead of doubting me and telling me it was $2.50 each you should’ve taken a quick glance at the racks and seen that it does actually say $2.00 each. It was incredibly unprofessional, and unfortunately I will not be returning and I do not recommend this store to anyone else.
