It's an old and dated motel. But cheap and the room was clean. Only reason for 4/5 stars is no cold water in the room, just hot and scalding hot.

If one is in the area and needs a place to rest, this place is solid. Would stay here again.

Stayed here over the weekend. Its an old building but the rooms are kept clean. The staff was pretty nice. The lady over the counter gave us ideas of what to do while we were in town.
We ate at the restaurant twice. First time was the buffet. It was not good. No selection at all. They had chicken, mashed potatoes and beans and a salad bar. The next day we had a late dinner and ordered rib eyes. The steak was surprisingly good. I would stay there again as long as I stay away from the buffet.

What's to say. It's a very old motel, with outside key entry, that needs upgrading, in a very small rural area. Just fine to have somewhere to put your head for the night. Quiet, old style and clean to probably most folks standards.

Even for just 60 bucks a night this place is NOT a deal. Everything is dated. Bathroom sink didn't have water. There was a super weird smell. Even after calling ahead and asking to have the key left in the room the AC was off and it was like 85 degrees. One bed was totally shot, flimsy with no support. The other bed was slightly better. Place needed a new coat of paint about 20 years ago. Spot fixes are obvious and poorly done. If I were to judge the restaurant by how they kept their rooms I would never eat here. I've had better stays in rural Vietnam sleeping on a cane mat.

If you're looking for a Marriott experience, you won't be happy here. However, if you want a comfortable, clean, affordable, homespun room, no-nonsense service, and you can chuckle at

the absence of a Room 13
an old table leg spliced on to the microwave counter for support
the owner hollaring "PULL HARDER" to get the shower running

then the Sandhiller Motel is for you!

We had the soup of the day, delicious beef noodle, and Julie helped my wife, bring the food to our room.

There's no landscaping, but the place is centrally located, with ample parking.

We througuly enjoyed our stay!

Your typical drive up motel. Room was fine and the restaurant had a nice menu. Staff was friendly and the price was good. Located near the railroad tracks but I never noticed it sleeping. I would definitely stay there again.

I wouldn't recommend this motel to anybody stay because they're rude they don't clean the rooms they overcharge people for the rates and they don't clean the rooms up. It will be $70 a night. They end up was $75-$100 a night which is kind of rip off. And the restaurant is not open at all

Bed pillows sheets and comforter was dirty, covered in hair and remade dirty from previous guest, this was pretty obvious . If it wasn't 30 miles to another small city I would have left,I laid a tarp and sleeping bag on floor.
