Where do I start? If I could give this a 10 star a review, I would.

Tours: informative and engaging, covers a surprising range of beers and the included freebies are generous. Tour guides can answer and beer related questions you may have.

Staff: Friendly and extremely helpful. Went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and her beer/lactose intolerance with adapted tasting sessions for the barrel aged tasting session.

Beer: delicious, obviously.

Food: great range of bar style snack food. The beer cheese dip is TO DIE FOR.

Good brewery tour, fairly standard, but it is nice they give you a few different samples as you're walking through the tour instead of as a flight at the end. The front desk folks were super friendly and accommodating when we arrived a few minutes late, and we appreciated their understanding. We paid for the extra sample in the basement at the end, and that was a fun way to end the tour. The gift shop had fun and tempting products as well.

Had a neat experience here! Came in for the VIP tour and the lady at check in was very nice! Jacob who gave the tour was great and friendly too and let us try multiple beers! Neat lay out and set up too! The bartenders in the tap room were nice and helpful! Lots of good beers to pick and R&D beers you can’t get outside of here too! Gift shop staff could have been more engaging or helpful, but won’t let it change my rating! Just didn’t buy anything because they didn’t check in or say anything so wasn’t going to ask questions or try to buy stuff. Enjoyed our tour and a few beers after and sat by the fire outside too! Quote an elaborate set up here!

Samuel Adams Brewery is a great experience for anyone who likes beer and the alcohol that this company puts out.

The service is fast, efficient, and friendly. They have tours of the brewery as well as seating areas to eat and chill. It is a good place to visit even if you don't drink beer.

The food is decent. It's typical bar food, nothing too outstanding but they all pair decently with the beer. Prices are alright too.

If you’re planning a trip to Boston and looking for something truly unique to do, the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery tour in Jamaica Plain is an absolute must! For just $10, what you get in return is an incredible insight into the history of one of America’s most beloved beers—it’s practically a steal.

Our guide, Joel, was simply fantastic. He had a way of explaining every part of the brewing process that was both informative and engaging. Joel dove into the intricate details of beer making, from the choice of ingredients to the fermentation process, and did so with a passion that was contagious. It was clear he not only loved his job but also had a deep respect for the craft of brewing.

The tour itself is well-structured, moving through various stages of the brewery and allowing for plenty of questions. You really get a feel for the scale of their operation and the pride they take in producing a high-quality product. Plus, it’s not just educational; there’s a fun vibe throughout the tour, with plenty of laughter and stories shared among visitors.

The gift shop at the end of the tour was a highlight for me. It’s filled with all sorts of Samuel Adams merchandise, from branded glasses and shirts to unique beer varieties that you might not find anywhere else. And the best part? The prices are very reasonable, so you can grab some cool souvenirs without breaking the bank.

As for the beer tasting, it was a delightful experience. We got to try several different brews, each with its own distinct flavor profile. It was a great way to wrap up the tour, sitting back with newfound friends, enjoying a cold one, and discussing our favorite picks.

Overall, the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery tour offers incredible value for money. You leave with a greater appreciation for the craft of beer making, some fun memories, and maybe even a few new favorite beers. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston, whether you’re a beer aficionado or just looking to try something new. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in a piece of American brewing history, guided by people who are truly passionate about what they do. Don’t miss out on this authentic Boston experience!
