We attended a wedding reception here. It is outdoors - although part of the reception was in an open air building with a roof but no walls. It was late April but cold and windy. We walked up a dirt driveway to an upper patio area for dinner which was from a food truck the day we were there. They had nice portable potties in a trailer - much nicer than the green plastic porta-potties.

The decor is cute but the rural site was difficult for elderly and those with mobility issues. There was plenty of room for tables and a place for a band and dancing. Wear sensible shoes and bring a wrap or coat to keep warm.

This gem is tucked off of Chileno Valley road and nestled between the rolling hills of Petaluma.There is so much life on this ranch and it's a blessing to enter the premises. If your headed to Helen Putnam park and you forgot a lunch they have so many amazing options in there little store. If you want someone to shop for your meals that week, join their CSA box club. It's so cool that they provide recipes to go with the items they picked for you, that way you can go to the store with a pre-made grocery list. I love everything about Rusty Hinges Ranch. There is so much to offer, the versatility of uses on the property is outstanding. If you haven't stopped by to learn more treat yourself.
