I loved it here!
When we arrived, they were serving the tastings outdoors. Which was perfect because the weather was amazing. We tried some wine, purchased a bottle and walked to a section on top of a hill, and relaxed. We had the most amazing view of the sunset. It was magical. The staff was also great, everyone was really nice. And of course their wine was delicious!

Wonderful experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and the space is open. The inside has a wine bar and a seating area with seats lining the walls. There are several outdoor seating areas that are covered with a canopy for shade. Tables are at each area. Charcuterie board was better than expected with a wide variety of flavors from cheeses, cured meats, pickles, sweet onions, peppers, nuts, and more.
Service was excellent. Bar tender was very kind, quick and professional.
Wine tasting starts at $15.
I highly recommend this place if you like wine, a good charcuterie board, or want to experience a nice atmosphere.

Great experience coming to Rune Wines with my grandparents. The bruschetta was very tasty. Loved the Grenache and Wild Syrah wines so much I bought two bottles each. The views out of the back of the winery are amazing as well. Great place to stop on a wine tour.

This is a great place. From the outside on a gray rainy day.... Very deceptive. Inside... Great company...just one of the best set of wines we have had on a long time. If we were in the area we would go often. Service was wonderful and the women running the show was by herself and did a bang up job. Knew about gluten and had gluten free crackers for me that were tasty. We tried 5 wines and it was hard to decide what to get. They were so good. So we did bring a few home with us. Thanks so much for making our time with you a memorable experience. We drove a long way and would do it again! Love that you serve birrata! Everything was perfect except the weather. 😉

First time there. I loved their mead, and my friends were huge fans of all the wines in their tasting. We learned they were doing a campfire evening, so we returned to watch the sunset while enjoying their delicious drinks next to a campfire. It was spectacular!

Rune is not just a tasting room but an experience. What's nice is that the whole Rune team are dedicated, friendly, and welcoming. The menu items I've had are tasty and James is a master at creating wines that are elegant, crisp, and sophisticated. My favorites are the Viognier and Roussane.

The atmosphere is family and dog friendly, and just a pleasant place to hang out. The dark skies of the area lend itself to enjoyable stargazing. Certain times during the year, there is "Campfire Fridays" and open later than normal with bonfires (weather permitting). Some of the photos include the 2024 fall event for the wine club members offering food, wine, and music. Rune definitely should be on your list to visit when in southeastern Arizona. Photos coming soon.

This was our first taste of AZ wines and what a treat! We did the regular tasting and we were so impressed with the quality and taste of the wines. Then we tried the mead and the cider. We bought a bottle of each and brought it home. The cider was fantastic with a charcuterie board! I highly recommend taking time to sit outdoors. They have some very clever seating with great views. It was a little too windy the day we were there and we had just finished a hike on the AZT, so we elected to stay inside for our tasting.

Stopped by on a windy Saturday afternoon. We had our silver lab with us, so we were so happy it was dog friendly and found a beautiful area outside that was private and shaded overlooking the vineyard and mountains. Great view! Very nice and informative staff. $13 for a tasting of 5 unique wines, a rose', a white and 3 reds. One red stood out, and we bought a bottle of the Graciano to take home. They did have some food choices, which was nice to know. Very peaceful, relaxing stop.
