Purchased a bolt on wedge with the 4 way option for my old log splitter. After 5 months the wedge bent after splitting a piece of oak with a knot in it. Sent pictures in and they quickly said I overloaded it and won't replace or refund. When I'm ready to retire my old splitter I know to stay away from anything that says rugged made on it IF MY 15 YEAR OLD 26 TON SPLITTER CAN OVERLOAD THE WEDGE THAN THAT TELLS ME YOUR 37 TON SPLITTER WOULDNT DO WHAT I WANT IT TO DO ANYWAY. YOUR PRODUCT IS JUNK

I purchased a 37 ton log splitter with log lift and catcher in 2015. Within the first 5 hours I had a valve failure. After 10 hours the main hydraulic pump failed. It was under warranty and they sent the parts out, but with down time and lost fluid it cost me money. If you look up reviews on their website they are all 5 star. I posted a review on 3/27/16 and it has never been approved. I guess they only post the good reviews. Be careful searching for log splitters and remember they cost less for a reason. Look at Northern Tool before you buy.

I bought a 37 ton splitter from Ruggedmade. The two people I talked to on the phone were helpful. Splitter arrived in good shape. I had to drive to a freight place to pick it up but loading and unloading wasn’t too bad. Splits what I throw at it. Good experience.
