We stumbled on this place while passing through town. We were looking for prepared food and mistakenly thought that they had cooked sausages here. They do not.

We ended up spending almost an hour talking to Roy. What a great guy! We chatted about sausages and the local area. We enjoyed our chat so much that we came back by the next day to actually purchase some sausage on our way home.

I can't recommend this place enough. Six stars!

Hands down the best sausage around. Their spicy sausage is so good, just the right amount of spice too. Their breakfast sausage is just exquisite.
They occasionally have game meats like duck too. You can get a deer or a wild pig processed here too.

Amazing sausages with good quality meat inside and a great selection! Roy created the artichoke chicken sausage for one of the artichoke festivals and it was so good and well liked that he is still making it today.

There are so pleasant people in the shop. Roy is really kind and offered us good advice on how to cook the meats and sausages. Highly recommend this place! Worth the detour to stock up your freezer with good quality sausages and meat!

Visited this awesome place 3/20/21. Bought 2 kinds of Italian sausage & can't wait to try it. Also bought skirt steak, seasoned it with Roys seasoning. Delicious & melts in your mouth. Will go back next time we are in the area. We were also able to meet the owner & really enjoyed him.

A trek worth taking. Roy's shop is off the beaten path (and a long beautiful drive to if you take the back roads through hidden valley from the coast) but it was absolutely worth it. At first you aren't quite sure where your map is taking you, thinking that just maybe you missed a turn somewhere but when you arrive and see the little open sign on the little butcher shop, know that it's worth it. We were warmly greeted by the friendly pup and the employee and just got a couple packs of sausage. I cracked em open and cooked one up immediately. Juicy, rich and flavorful! Absolutely worth the price. If your looking for a standard sausage from Safeway, this is not your shop. I'll be back for sure.
