Russ’s place is a beautiful property tucked away about 15 minutes from Mentone. He shares his passion for nature, his farm animals and lovely garden. We were able to feed his goats and sheep, and pick a variety of vegetables from his summer garden. Thanks so much Russ, our group enjoyed meeting you and seeing your peaceful place!

Enjoyed a tour of this beautiful sprawling 75 acre ranch. The day I visited, the large sheep herd was moved from one pasture to the next and it was a thrill to see that in action.

I so enjoyed feeding the goats and interacting with the guardian dogs,

Russ is a great guide, he manages his property under regenerative principles. He is a natural educator and allowed me to gather eggs from the chicken coop and dig loads of beets and radishes from the kitchen garden.

I’m looking forward to picking from the orchard at my next visit,
I’ll be back for sure!
