Do not use this service department. Spent 1,325 dollars on a full service for my zero turn. Went to pick it up and 4 grease fitting had not been greased. 2 of them pictures below never were greased even after bringing it to their attention. Brought mower home after 5 minutes of use smelled burning smell the $120 belt they put on was being worn in two. Took mower back up to the service manager who said there were rocks in the pulley that wore the belt and they would not replace it. Very poor customer service! Do not use this service department! Finding more grease fitting that have not been touched on the front hub. Coolant level was never checked or addressed. After 1,300 dollars I loaded my mower up with belt and covers removed. After 1,300 I had to grease 6 fitting, fill up the coolant and replace the belt.

I took two hoses to be made from my compact tractor, wasn’t sure which one was the bad one. I was help by the Mgr. counter guy who said he knew the guy Rusty behind me and he was familiar with that guys issue and asked Ron Sexton the other counter guy to make the hoses. Both counter guys are professional and excellent parts counter guys! Ron made my hoses quickly and when I got home the short one wouldn’t fit and I was sure in my mind it went on a certain way but thought I was mixed up so I proceeded to put it on the other outlet for the other hose. After crisscrossing hoses the bucket wouldn’t operate correctly so I called Ron and ask him if he made the short hose a little longer which he said he did. I told him it was to long and would not work and I would drive back to get another one made, he said he still had the old one. When I got there I waited in line to talk to Ron. The Mgr. counter guy tried to help me but I told him I needed to talk to Ron so he helped the guy behind me. When he was finished with that guy he asked me if I had another hose made and I said compact tractors have limited space and Ron made it a little to long so he took it to the back to make another one. In the mean time I noticed a similar hose beside Ron who was proactive enough to make a new one before I got back to the store. I said to Ron you need to go to the back to keep the other guy from making another one which he promptly took my advise and stop him. I needed to get a quart of fluid since I had taken the hoses off twice and figured I might have leaked to much fluid and the Mgr. rang it up for $7.36 which I paid. I also wasted a extra trip back to get it corrected. Excellent customer service would be to give me the quart of fluid to the customer to compensate for his trouble. Over twenty years of spending money on equipment, parts, hoses, etc. a small token goes a long way to keep a customer.

Spring is around the corner but don’t expect your time nor money to be worth much when you need parts or service from River Valley Tractor. RVT has a monopoly in Central AR for Kubota products and translates that dominance into shamefully high prices and cocky, slow shop service. 5 days = 3 weeks. The monetary burden of their business model falls directly on the working class, it doesn’t affect the wealthy. RVT makes the Kubota name reek with the perfume of entitlement.
